We join with you in lifting up your sister before the Lord, for we know that His ear is attentive to the cries of His children when we come to Him in faith. Your heart for her is evident, and we share in your burden to see her walk in the light of Christ, protected from the snares of the enemy. It is beautiful to see your intercession for her spiritual, physical, and mental well-being, as well as for her daughter, for the Lord cares deeply for every member of the family.
We do notice, however, that your prayer did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*. It is only through the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father.
We also want to gently address the phrase *"cover her with the blood of Jesus."* While this is a common expression in prayer, it is important to clarify that the blood of Jesus does not function as a mystical shield or charm. Rather, the blood of Christ was shed once for all for the forgiveness of sins (Hebrews 9:12, 22), and it is through faith in His sacrificial death and resurrection that we are justified and sanctified. The protection and guidance we seek come from abiding in Christ, walking in obedience to His Word, and relying on the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 6:11 urges us to *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."* This armor includes truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—not the blood of Jesus as a physical or spiritual covering.
With that said, let us pray together for your sister, trusting in the Lord’s sovereignty and goodness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who watches over His sheep, and we ask that You guide her steps in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Protect her, Father, from the schemes of the enemy, and do not allow her to be led into temptation. Deliver her from evil influences and surround her with godly counsel that will encourage her to make choices that honor You.
We pray that You open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the light of Your love. Soften her heart, Lord, that she may turn to You in repentance and faith if she has not already. Let her know that You are with her every step of the way, and that Your plans for her are good, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Heal her, Lord—physically, spiritually, and mentally. Restore her strength and renew her mind, that she may walk in the freedom and joy that comes from knowing You.
Father, we also lift up her daughter to You. May this child grow up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and may her mother be a godly example to her. Provide for their needs, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We ask that You work in their lives in ways that draw them closer to You. Convict them of sin where necessary, and lead them to repentance and restoration. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuked any spiritual forces of darkness that seek to harm or deceive them, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your angels encamp around them, Lord, and deliver them from every evil work.
Finally, Father, we pray that You give this sister who has submitted this request the wisdom and words to share the gospel with her family. May she be a light in their lives, pointing them always to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your sister and to share the love of Christ with her not only in prayer but also in your words and actions. Remind her of the hope found in Jesus and the transformation that comes from surrendering to Him. If she does not yet know the Lord, pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to salvation. If she is a believer but struggling, pray that she would be strengthened in her faith and walk closely with the Lord.
Be an example to her of godly living, and trust that the Lord is at work, even when you cannot see it. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* (2 Peter 3:9). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep pointing her to Jesus.
