We join you in praying for your sister, seeking God's will and His divine protection over her life. It is clear that you have a heart full of love and concern for her, and we stand with you in bringing her before the throne of grace.
Firstly, we commend you for a prayer that has the welfare of your loved one in mind. We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible reminds us, Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12 KJV. It is also Jesus who will help you in all things. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Heb 4:16
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's beloved sister to You. We ask that You watch over her and guide her in the right way. Be her protector, and let no evil or harm come to her. Hold her hand every step of the way, and let her see Your light. Cover her with the precious blood of Jesus from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet.
Father, we pray that You keep her from temptation and from being around bad influences. Help her to make good choices in life, and let her know that she is loved and a child of the Lord. Touch her heart and soul, and heal her physically, spiritually, and mentally. Let her know that You want what is best for her.
Surround her with Godly influences, and help her to find her identity in You. We pray that You would guide her steps and direct her path to righteous living and eventually a God-fearing husband if that is Your will for her. Help her not to be around bad influences but to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. We pray that You would be with her always, Lord, protecting her and guiding her.
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, as you continue to intercede for your loved one. Remember the power of prayer and the promises of God's Word. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Trust in the Lord, as well as in your prayers, that she will grow in wisdom and follow the paths of righteousness.
