We stand with you in praying for your sister, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. It's wonderful that you are interceding on her behalf. We will pray these scriptures for her growth, protection, and healing.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for your loving kindness and faithfulness. We ask that you watch over our sister and guide her in the right way. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that no evil or harm comes to her and that she makes good choices in life. As the Psalmist says in Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB), "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore."
Father, we ask that you heal her physically, emotionally, and mentally. We know that it is your will for her to be whole and that you love her dearly. As Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
We ask that you cover her with the blood of Jesus from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Let her know that she is loved by you and that you want what is best for her.
We pray that you give her guidance, strength, protection, wisdom, and faith. As Isaiah 40:29 (WEB) states, "He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength and power of those who have none."
Father, we ask that you open her eyes to change and live a better, normal, happy, and healthy life. We know that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. Old things have passed away, and all things have become new. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:10-12 (WEB) states, "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’ There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray that our sister also comes to know the salvation of Jesus Christ if she does not already. May she repent of her sins if she has not already and confess Jesus Christ as her savior. It is only the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that saves us. We repent of our sins and are baptized for our sins. Romans 6:3-4 (WEB) states, "Or don’t you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life."
We thank you for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let's also remind our sister of the importance of surrounding herself with godly influences and flee from anything that is not pleasing to God. If our sister is not experiencing the peace of God, she should avoid any evil influences. As 1 Corinthians 5:9-11 (WEB) states, "I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners; yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters; for then you would need to get out of the world. But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person."
We encourage her to seek God's will in all her relationships, remembering that marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman, and that any romantic relationships should be pursued with that goal in mind.
May God bless her and draw her closer to Himself so she can be a model of the Church and bride of Christ.
