We join you in praying for your sister, and we appreciate your heartfelt concerns for her well-being and spiritual growth. We stand with you believing in Jesus name. Let us pray together.
Father God Almighty,
Let us approach your throne through Jesus Christ. We know that by His name only do we have access to the throne of grace. By faith in His precious name, we are saved and made righteous.
We pray for our sister's sister, asking that you watch over her and guide her in the right way. We ask that you would keep her from temptation or being around bad influences. We ask this believing, "Faithful is God, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We pray for her that she would believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved and become a child of the Most High God. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
We pray asking that she would open her eyes and live a normal, happy, better life, the life of a child of God and joint heir with Jesus Christ. "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:"
We ask that you protect her from evil and harm. We ask that you cover her with the blood of Jesus from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. We pray that you touch her heart. "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
We pray that she would know that you are always with her, and you will never forsake her or abandon her. "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
We pray that she would take your hand and allow you to guide her in the right way. We ask for her to be filled with the Holy Spirit and that she would follow Him and the Word of God. We ask that she would trust in the Lord with all her heart, lean not unto her own understanding and in all her ways acknowledge Him that He would guide her path straight."
We pray for her to be a holy vessel unto the Lord and that she would be able to praise God for all He has done for her. "For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."
We pray for her to be cleansed from all unrighteousness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
