Sister Remsen

Sister Remsen, who is a new prayer member, left prayer requests on my public visitor page (public for everyone to see) - I think she did not find the main board. She is going to have open heart surgery next month (8 July). I think she needs everyones prayer and there for

I quote her first request. Thank you for praying for her as the Lord leads.

"I have been in a relationship for nineteen years, but we got married eight yrs. ago. It has been a difficult relationship that caused me a lot of hurt. Nineteen years and two kids later, I feel trapped. My husband is very cold, disconnected and lacks emotions and never shows affection to me or the kids and does not communicate. He refuses to change and will not seek counseling. I have no family that lives in the state in which we liveand I often feel lost, unloved and a sense of hopelessness. I am about to have open heart surgery next month. Please pray that God will see me through and that I will be able to move on with my life and find happiness for me and my girls."

Lord, I pray for sister Remsen. Lead her husband to show her love, gentleness, compassion, and kindness. Bring him to repentance and salvation. Lead sister Remsen to your word and the comfort of your promises to us. Also, Father, I pray for the scheduled heart surgery, that it is successful and that the recovery period is short and pain free. Bless our sister, Lord, and show her your favor.

Heavenly Father I pray You would pour Your love over Remsen and let her feel loved by You. I pray for her family, for a new hope, for renewal that comes from Your Spirit. I pray for her husband's heart of stone to be changed in a heart of flesh. I pray You heal the emotional pain in Remsen's heart. In Jesus Name. Amen

Father, I also pray for Remsen, for her marriage and her health. Please give her peace. Help her to draw nearer to You and to trust that You are willing and able to accomplish Your will in her life. And that she might know without a doubt that Your plans for her are the best. Help her to surrender every area of her life and every relationship to You. I pray also for her husband. Open his eyes and help him to submit to You. Help him to cherish his wife and family and to appreciate what he has. And mostly, help him to walk in Your will. Helpl Remsen to seek and find many reasons to praise You every day. And hold her hand tightly before, after and during surgery. Please guide the surgeons and all those caring for her to do an excellent job. In Jesus Name I ask these things and praise Your name. For You are merciful and gracious to us far more than we deserve. Father, I stand in agreement with all of the prayers being offered. May You be right by Sister Remsen's side, guiding her to the choices You have willed for her. May Your wisdom be with the surgeons, and may Your healing restore her to health. We know You are greater than anything we face, and we pray believing that You are here, in this moment, blessing Sister Remsen and caring for her needs. Amen.

I just want to say thank you to everyone for praying for me. It means so much to me. I am believing that God will bring me safely through this surgery. My marraige seems so hopeless because I am married to someone who does not treat me with any love and treats me as though I do not exist. It hurts to the core of me and I want God to show me a way out because I am so tired of trying and hoping that I can receive the love and affection any human being deserves. It has left me empty and lonely after all these years of trying. I am crying out to my heavenly Father for help!! Please continue to pray for me...
