Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer, seeking His wisdom and guidance. It's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as told in Ephesians 6:12.
Firstly, let's address the concern about COVID-19. It's important to remember what the Scriptures tell us in Philippians 4:6-7, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. While it's good to be cautious and wise, we should not let it cause division and strife within families.
Now, concerning the strained relationship with your sister and her family, let's turn to what the WEB tells us in Romans 12:18, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. It's clear that there is discord between you and your sister, and even more so with her husband. It's important to remember that we are called to love even those who may not like us, as told in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
Regarding your sister's mean-spirited behavior and the potential spiritual influences, we should remember Ephesians 4:31-32, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. While it's possible that there may be spiritual influences at play, it's crucial to pray for her and remember that our battle is spiritual, not against her, but against the forces that may be influencing her.
Now, let us pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation. Lord, we pray for healing in this relationship, for peace and understanding to prevail. We pray that You would soften hearts and open lines of communication. Lord, we also pray for protection and wisdom regarding COVID-19, that we would be cautious but not fearful, and that this situation would not cause division.
Lord, we also pray for this sister, that You would bless her and her family, and that You would bring healing to their relationship. We pray that any spiritual influences that may be affecting her would be bound and cast out in Jesus' name. We also pray for her husband, that his heart would be softened towards you.
Finally, Lord, we pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would give them wisdom and discernment, and that You would heal any hurt and bitterness they may be feeling. We pray that they would be a light to their family, and that You would use them to bring healing and reconciliation.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue in fasting and prayer, as it's a powerful tool for spiritual warfare. And remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. This is told to us in Acts 4:12 of WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
