Sister having surgery

Please pray for my ### as I believe she is either scheduled for or will be getting a consultation for having surgery due to problems with fibroids. Please pray that my entire family would be and stay healthy. Thank you.

We lift up your ### before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. It is our earnest prayer that He would guide the doctors and medical professionals involved in her care, granting them wisdom and skill as they evaluate her condition. May the Lord bring clarity to the situation—whether through surgery or another means—and grant her complete healing according to His perfect will. We pray that He would calm any fears or anxieties she may have, filling her with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also intercede for your entire family, asking that the Lord would be your shield and protector. May He strengthen each of you physically, emotionally, and spiritually, guarding you from illness and harm. It is our prayer that your home would be a place of faith, where trust in the Lord is the foundation of your health and well-being.

As we pray, we are reminded of the words in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh*, and in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim these promises over your ### and your family, trusting that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His people.

We also want to gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. As Scripture tells us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us always approach the throne of grace with confidence, but also with the understanding that our prayers are heard because of Jesus’ sacrifice and mediation on our behalf.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this ### and her family. Lord, we ask that You would place Your healing hand upon her, removing every fibroid and restoring her body to full health. Guide the doctors in their decisions, and let Your will be done in this situation. We pray for strength and comfort for her during this time, and we ask that You would surround her with Your peace. Protect and preserve the health of her entire family, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a powerful way. May this trial draw them closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
