Sinus pain, infection, and inflammation

We join you in lifting up this request for healing, knowing that our God is a God of compassion and restoration who hears the cries of His children. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* Though you have not mentioned elders or anointing, we trust in the power of prayer offered in faith, and we stand with you in agreement for your complete healing.

We also recall the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Your healing is not beyond His reach, and we claim His promises over you today. Sinus pain and inflammation can be wearying, but we serve a God who renews our strength and brings relief. Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* He invites you to cast this burden upon Him, trusting that He cares for you deeply.

Yet, as we pray, we must also consider whether there is any area of our lives where we may need to seek God’s forgiveness or realignment with His will. Sometimes sickness can be a call to examine our hearts, though not always. In 1 Corinthians 11:30-32, we read, *"For this cause many among you are weak and sick, and not a few sleep. For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged. But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world."* Let us humbly ask the Lord if there is anything He is speaking to you through this season, while also standing firm in faith for your physical healing.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is suffering from sinus pain, infection, and inflammation. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of our bodies with wisdom and purpose. We ask that You would touch their sinuses with Your healing hand, removing all pain, clearing every infection, and soothing the inflammation. Let Your healing power flow through their body, restoring them to full health and strength.

We rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and not return. Father, if there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal it to them and grant them the wisdom and grace to address it. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding as they wait on You, and let them feel Your comforting presence near them.

We thank You, Lord, for Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24). We declare that promise over this situation now, trusting that You are working all things together for their good. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let this season be a testimony of Your goodness and power.

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, lifting up your request for healing. We've been reminded of the verse in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over you today, believing that God is already at work in your body, bringing healing and restoration.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart and mind stayed on the Lord. In times of pain or discomfort, it's easy to focus on the problem, but we're called to fix our eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). Let's trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your healing touch on [###]'s sinuses. We believe that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. We ask that You would remove the pain, clear the infection, and soothe the inflammation. Let Your healing power flow through their body, bringing strength and vitality.

We thank You, Lord, for Your promise in Psalm 147:3. We claim this promise over [###] today, believing that You are healing them in Your own way and in Your own time. Help them to keep their focus on You, Lord, and to trust in Your goodness.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
