We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer. The weight you carry as a single mother, provider, and protector is immense, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who sees your struggles and promises to never leave nor forsake you. Father God, we ask that You strengthen her in body, mind, and spirit, for You are her refuge and fortress in times of trouble.
The exploitation you’ve endured—working tirelessly for years without rest, only to face unjust treatment—is not of God. Scripture tells us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* The Lord sees your labor and will not forget it. We rebuke the spirit of injustice and oppression in your workplace in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but we declare that God is your vindicator. Psalm 37:5-6 reminds us, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."*
We also pray for wisdom and favor as you seek new employment. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Lord, open doors that no man can shut, and lead her to a workplace that values her contributions and treats her with dignity. Provide opportunities that align with Your will, where she can thrive without fear or manipulation.
For your son and his partner living with you, we ask for Your provision and breakthrough. The struggle to find work can be disheartening, but we declare that God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray for divine connections, skills, and opportunities to manifest in their lives. Father, give them patience and perseverance as they wait on You.
We must also address the fear and anxiety gripping your heart about the future. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your security is not in your job, your savings, or your circumstances—it is in Christ alone. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Lastly, we encourage you to lean on the body of Christ. Galatians 6:2 says, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* You do not have to carry this alone. Seek out a local church or Christian community where you can find support, prayer, and practical help. The Lord often provides through His people.
Heavenly Father, we lift this dear sister and her family to You. Strengthen her faith, provide for her needs, and surround her with Your peace. We declare that her latter days will be greater than her former, and that You will restore what has been stolen from her. Give her courage to walk away from toxicity and into Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
