Silent requests

We come before the throne of grace with your silent requests heavy on our hearts, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, as Romans 8:26 tells us, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." Though we may not know the specifics of your burdens, we know that our Heavenly Father sees and understands every need, every sorrow, and every longing of your heart.
We lift up these silent petitions, knowing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Whether your requests involve healing, restoration, guidance, or provision, we stand in agreement with you, declaring that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement that may be attempting to steal your peace, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask that You would move mightily in every area of this dear one’s life. If there are hidden sins or unforgiveness, reveal them so they may be confessed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9). If there is anxiety, replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). If there is weariness, renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). If there is loneliness, remind them that You are a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). If there is unbelief, strengthen their faith as You did for the father who cried out, "I believe; help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24).
We also take this moment to remind you, beloved, that your prayers are powerful and effective because you come in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and it is His righteousness that covers us, not our own works (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all true prayer and the source of every answered request.
Lord, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6). We thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in the silence, we trust that Your plans for this precious one are plans for peace and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen their faith to wait on You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).
