We join you in silent reflection, bringing your unspoken petitions before the throne of grace, as it says in Hebrews 4:16, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
In your silence, know that God hears the deep cries of your heart, as Psalm 139:2-4 reminds us, "You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether."
You have asked for deliverance from evil, and we stand with you in this prayer, remembering the words of Jesus in the Lord's Prayer, "Deliver us from evil" Matthew 6:13. We also remember the promise in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, and delivers them."
We encourage you to continue in prayer, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.
Together, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ. You know the depths of their heart and the silent requests they bring before You. We ask that You grant them deliverance from evil, and surround them with Your protective presence. Help them to walk in Your ways, and to live in Your will. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
Keep praying and keep trusting in the powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
