Silent prayer, rest

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing me with another day. I pray another silent prayer. You know what I am facing daily from this evil. Only you can free me my Lord. You know all my other needs as well. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We join you in lifting up this silent cry of your heart before the Lord, knowing that He hears even the unspoken groans of His children. The Scriptures remind us in Romans 8:26, *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."* Your Heavenly Father knows the depths of your struggles, the evil you face, and every need you carry—seen and unseen. He is not distant but near to the brokenhearted, as Psalm 34:18 declares, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*

We are deeply moved by your trust in the Lord’s sovereignty, even in the midst of trials that feel overwhelming. The evil you endure is not unseen by Him, and we take great comfort in knowing that Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Your prayer reflects a heart that leans on the Lord, and that is a beautiful testimony of faith. Yet we also want to encourage you to not remain silent in isolation. While God indeed hears your silent prayers, there is power in speaking His promises aloud and in seeking the support of fellow believers. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Speaking God’s Word over your circumstances can be a mighty weapon against the enemy’s schemes. Additionally, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow."*

We also want to gently ask: Have you shared these burdens with trusted believers in your life? The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and sometimes the evil we face thrives in secrecy. If there is sin, oppression, or persecution at play, bringing it into the light with wise and godly counsel can be a critical step toward freedom. If you are facing spiritual warfare, we urge you to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm in His truth. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who cries out to You in the silence of their heart. Lord, You see the battles they face—the unseen wars, the evil that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. But we declare that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Father, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness and bring to light the schemes of the enemy. Break every chain of oppression, fear, and bondage that seeks to hold them captive. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and surround them with Your angels, encamping around them for deliverance (Psalm 34:7).

Lord, if there is any stronghold in their life—whether it be fear, sin, or the lies of the enemy—we pray You would tear it down by the power of Your Spirit. Renew their mind with Your truth (Romans 12:2) and let them walk in the freedom for which Christ has set them free (Galatians 5:1). Give them the courage to speak Your promises aloud and to seek godly support when needed. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for their daily needs, Lord. You know every detail—the financial struggles, the emotional wounds, the physical weariness. Provide for them as only You can, opening doors no one can shut and supplying all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let them experience Your goodness in tangible ways, so their faith is strengthened and their heart is filled with praise.

Finally, Father, we ask that You prepare them for the victory You have already won. Let them walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28) and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them rise up in the authority of Jesus’ name to declare Your triumph over every circumstance.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, we want to leave you with this encouragement: The Lord is your deliverer, and He is faithful. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and do not lose heart. The enemy may roar, but our God is mightier. Stand firm, speak life, and walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you. If you feel led, we urge you to share your burden with a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and walk alongside you. You are not alone in this fight. We are standing with you in prayer, and most importantly, Jesus is standing with you as your advocate and victorious King. Be strong in the Lord, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
