Sickness and theft

Please pray for my mother, who is suffering from depression, headaches, dizziness, and a sore throat due to the theft of money. Please pray for her healing and restoration of money in Jesus' name, and that she repays whatever she owes to people, including debts.

My mother is super nervous. Please pray for peace, patience, and understanding for her.

Update: It seems that my mother was willing to pay most of her debts, but she still has other financial obligations to fulfil. Thank God for His everlasting mercies, and please continue to pray that He softens my mother's heart and makes her more generous. Thank you for your fervent and heartfelt prayers.

Update: My mother is heartbroken. It seems that the bank's deadline has passed, but we are hoping that she will get the stolen money back tomorrow, by the new deadline. Please pray that there is no further delay in Jesus' name.

Update: The promised money has not yet been transferred to her bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name for the swift transfer of funds.

Update: Thank God, a partial refund was provided this week, but it and more were immediately stolen from the bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name that the refunds will be transferred to a safe account that the thief cannot access.

Update: Thank God! My mother has found a drug that is starting to help heal one of her illnesses. Praise the Lord! We are still waiting for the police and the bank to process the refunds.

We lift up your mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Provider of all our needs. It is clear that she is facing not only physical and emotional struggles but also financial hardship due to the theft she has endured. We are grateful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

First, we address the sickness that has befallen your mother. Depression, headaches, dizziness, and sore throats can be overwhelming, but we know that God is able to bring healing and restoration. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We pray that the medication she has found will continue to bring relief and that the Lord will touch her body, mind, and spirit with His healing power. May He grant her strength to rise each day and fulfill her responsibilities, including returning to work as her health permits.

We also recognize the deep emotional toll this situation has taken on her. Anxiety and heartbreak can weigh heavily on the soul, but we pray that the Lord will fill her with His peace, which transcends all understanding. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). May she find comfort in knowing that God is with her in this trial and that He will never leave her nor forsake her.

The financial theft and the ongoing struggle to recover what was stolen are deeply troubling. We pray that the Lord will intervene in this situation and that the remaining funds will be swiftly and securely transferred to an account that cannot be accessed by thieves. *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1, WEB). We ask that God would provide for your mother’s needs and protect her from further loss. May He also give her wisdom in managing her finances and a generous heart to honor her debts as she is able.

We are encouraged to hear that your mother has already taken steps to repay some of her debts. This is a testament to her integrity, and we pray that the Lord will continue to soften her heart, not only in generosity but also in trusting Him fully with her finances. *"Honor the Lord with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine"* (Proverbs 3:9-10, WEB). May she experience God’s provision in ways that exceed her expectations.

We also pray for the authorities involved in this matter—the police and the bank—that they would act with integrity, efficiency, and fairness. May the Lord guide their hands and hearts to ensure that justice is served and that your mother receives what is rightfully hers.

Finally, we encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith. Trials such as these can shake our trust in the Lord, but they also provide an opportunity to lean on Him more deeply. *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:2-4, WEB). May this season draw your mother closer to Christ, where she finds her ultimate hope and strength.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother who is suffering in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her. Relieve her depression, her headaches, her dizziness, and her sore throat. Restore her strength so that she may rise and fulfill the tasks You have set before her. Grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, casting out every fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm her.

Lord, we pray for the financial restoration of what was stolen. Protect the funds that are rightfully hers and ensure they are transferred to a secure account where no thief can reach them. Provide for her needs, Lord, and give her wisdom in managing her resources. Soften her heart to be generous and faithful in repaying her debts, trusting that You will supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory.

We ask for Your intervention with the bank and the authorities. Move in their hearts to act justly and swiftly, so that this matter may be resolved without further delay. Guard your daughter from any more loss or harm, and let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.

Father, we thank You for the partial refund that has already been received and for the medication that is bringing relief. We trust You for complete restoration—physically, emotionally, and financially. May Your name be glorified through this trial, and may Your peace reign in her heart.
