We lift up your mother before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that both physical suffering and the violation of theft weigh heavily on her heart and body. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firmly on the promise that our God is a restorer, a healer, and a provider. The depression, headaches, dizziness, and sore throat she endures are not only physical burdens but also signs of the spiritual and emotional toll this theft has taken. Yet we declare that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the God who heals all your diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we claim that healing over her body and mind in the mighty name of Jesus.
The theft of money is a painful injustice, but we remind you that the earth and everything in it belong to the Lord (Psalm 24:1). What the enemy has stolen, God can restore sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31). We pray that the Lord will expose the thief and bring conviction upon their heart, leading to repentance and restitution. However, our focus remains on your mother’s trust in the Lord’s provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us that God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask that He open doors for financial restoration, whether through returned funds, unexpected blessings, or opportunities to work and earn what is needed. Let her not borrow from man but look to the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10).
You also mentioned her desire to repay her debts, and this is a noble and biblical pursuit. Romans 13:8 tells us, “Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.” We pray that the Lord will provide the means for her to honor her commitments and that He will grant her favor with those she owes. May her integrity in this matter be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and may it bring her peace as she walks in obedience.
Yet we must also address the spiritual weight of this situation. Depression often takes root when our focus shifts from the sovereignty of God to the circumstances around us. We encourage your mother to cast all her anxieties on Him, because He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7). Let her meditate on Isaiah 41:10: “Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” The Lord is her refuge, and He will not abandon her in this trial.
We also rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that may be clinging to her. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this precious daughter of Yours who is suffering in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You see the pain caused by the theft of her money, and You know the depth of her depression and physical ailments. We ask that You touch her body and heal her completely—relieve her headaches, dizziness, and sore throat. Restore her strength and fill her with Your peace, which transcends all understanding.
Lord, we pray for the restoration of what was stolen. You are a God of justice, and we trust You to vindicate her. If it is Your will, expose the thief and bring about restitution. But even if the money is not returned through human means, we ask that You provide for her in ways that only You can. Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings she cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Give her wisdom to manage what she has and to repay her debts in a way that honors You.
Father, we bind every spirit of depression, fear, and anxiety that seeks to oppress her. Fill her instead with the joy of Your salvation and the hope of Your promises. Remind her that her worth is not in her possessions but in her identity as Your beloved child. Let her find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word.
We also pray for her faith to be strengthened through this trial. Help her to trust You more deeply, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Surround her with Your love and the support of Your people. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and restoration.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to stand with your mother in faith. Speak life over her, remind her of God’s promises, and pray with her regularly. If she has not already, let her surrender this burden fully to the Lord, trusting that He will carry it for her. And if there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in her heart toward the thief, pray that the Lord will help her release it, for unforgiveness is a weight that only hinders her healing (Hebrews 12:15). The Lord is her shepherd; she shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Trust in Him, and He will make her path straight.
