We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation filled with sickness, cruelty, and ungodly pressure. Father, we ask that You intervene in power and truth, for Your Word declares in Proverbs 16:12, "It is an abomination for kings to do wrong, for the throne is established by righteousness." We pray that truth and justice would prevail in this matter, that lies would be exposed, and that those who are deceitful—whether in legal counsel or influence—would be separated from this situation. Proverbs 25:5 tells us, "Take away the wicked from the king’s presence, and his throne will be established in righteousness." Lord, we ask that You remove every ungodly influence and restore righteousness where it has been corrupted.
We also lift up the mental and spiritual well-being of this individual who is making irrational and cruel claims. Father, we know that a heart hardened by sin can lead to great destruction, not only for others but for the one who harbors it. Your Word warns in Proverbs 28:26, "One who trusts in himself is a fool, but one who walks in wisdom is kept safe." We pray that this person would come to a place of humility, repentance, and soundness of mind. Soften their heart, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of their actions.
We must also address the cruelty being displayed here. Scripture is clear that love does not behave in such a way. 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 says, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil." The actions described here do not reflect the love of Christ, and we must rebuke the spirit of cruelty and oppression in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against You or Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the truth that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19).
Father, we also lift up the one who has submitted this request. We pray for Your protection, peace, and wisdom to surround them. Give them strength to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them not be overcome by fear or anxiety. Remind them that You are a God of justice, and You will not abandon them in this trial.
Lord, we must also address the absence of Your holy name in this request. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that all involved in this situation would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, for apart from Him, there is no true peace, justice, or healing. We ask that You draw hearts to repentance and faith, that they may experience the transforming power of Your love and grace.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Expose every lie, break every chain of oppression, and bring restoration where there has been brokenness. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
