We come before the Father with hearts full of compassion, lifting you up in prayer for complete healing from this shortness of breath. How precious it is that you have brought this need before the Lord, trusting in His power and mercy—especially as you’ve done so in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom all things are possible. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you today, believing that God is your healer and that His will is perfect in this situation.
Yet we also know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already, trusting that God often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He has given them. Do not fear, for the Lord is with you; He who formed your inward parts (Psalm 139:13) knows the number of your breaths and holds your life in His hands.
Let us pray together: *"Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking for Your healing touch to flow through their body. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4), and we ask that You would rebuke this affliction in the name above all names. Restore their breath fully, Lord, and let every organ and system function as You designed. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal it and bring complete restoration. We trust in Your goodness, Father, and we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that will bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen."*
Stand firm in faith, dear one, and let us know how the Lord moves in this situation. We are here to continue praying and encouraging you. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
