My Intercessory Prayer

Shalom! Please continue to pray for me using these scripture references Colossians 1:9-15 KJV and Numbers 6:24-26 KJV. Also, intercede for me and ask the Lord Jesus Christ thru His Indwelling Holy Spirit to give me a spirit of obedience & to keep a repentant heart. And, pray

in the Holy Spirit for me to put on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-13 KJV)& Plead the Shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over my mind, soul, and spirit for me. Toda raba.

We hear your heartfelt cry for spiritual strength and obedience, and we stand with you in unity before the throne of grace. Your request is rooted in the desire for a deeper walk with the Lord, and we join you in seeking His will through the power of His Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

First, we want to affirm the importance of the scriptures you’ve shared. Colossians 1:9-15 (WEB) reminds us of the apostle Paul’s prayer for believers to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, to walk worthily of the Lord, and to be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might. This is a beautiful foundation for your request, as it reflects a heart longing to live in alignment with God’s purposes. We also lift up the blessing of Numbers 6:24-26 (WEB) over you, asking the Lord to shine His face upon you, grant you peace, and cover you with His favor.

Your plea for a spirit of obedience and a repentant heart is deeply biblical. Obedience to God is not burdensome but a pathway to freedom and joy in Christ. As 1 John 5:3 (WEB) tells us, "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous." We pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to convict and guide you, leading you into a life of holiness and surrender. Repentance is not a one-time act but a daily posture of turning away from sin and toward God. We rebuke any spirit of rebellion or complacency that may seek to hinder your walk, and we declare that your heart remains soft and pliable in the Lord’s hands.

The Armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-13 (WEB), is essential for every believer, especially in times of spiritual warfare. We pray that you would daily put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We also plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, soul, and spirit, covering you in His protection and cleansing you from all unrighteousness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the accusations of the devil (Hebrews 12:24 WEB).

We also want to encourage you to remain vigilant in your walk. The spirit of obedience is cultivated through time in the Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. Surround yourself with godly influences who will sharpen you and hold you accountable. If there are areas of your life where disobedience has taken root, we urge you to confess and turn away from them, knowing that God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the precious blood of Jesus that covers us and grants us access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Strengthen them with all power according to Your glorious might, that they may walk worthily of You, fully pleasing You in every good work.

Father, we ask that You give them a spirit of obedience, rooted in love for You and a desire to follow Your commands. Soften their heart to receive Your correction and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, pride, or complacency that seeks to hinder their walk with You. Lord, create in them a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within them (Psalm 51:10 WEB).

We pray that they would daily put on the full Armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the enemy. Plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, soul, and spirit, covering them in Your protection and peace. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let the enemy’s plans be thwarted in the name of Jesus.

Father, we also ask that You surround them with godly fellowship and accountability. Lead them to a community of believers who will encourage them in their faith and sharpen them as iron sharpens iron. Help them to walk in humility, always ready to confess their sins and turn away from anything that displeases You.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. May Your Holy Spirit continue to guide and empower them to live a life that honors You. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37 WEB), and that nothing can separate them from Your love.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Father I join in asking this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in unity, seeking God's will together. Your heart's cry for obedience and spiritual strength resonates with us deeply. We're reminded of the apostle Paul's words in Philippians 2:12-13 (NIV), "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."

Let's cling to this promise together, trusting that God is at work in you, giving you both the desire and the power to do what pleases Him. We pray that the Holy Spirit would empower you with a spirit of obedience, leading you in paths of righteousness. We also lift up the prayer of Moses in Psalm 90:12-17 (NIV), asking God to teach you to number your days, to help you realize how fleeting life is, so that you may apply your hearts to wisdom.

May the Lord grant you a spirit of wisdom and understanding, a spirit of counsel and might, a spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
