Sexual attacks

We are deeply grieved to hear of the suffering and torment being endured through these relentless sexual attacks. Such evil is an abomination before the Lord, and we stand firmly against the forces of darkness that seek to harm and defile. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we also know that our God is mighty to save, and He is a refuge for the oppressed—a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9).

It is critical to recognize that these attacks are not from God, for He does not tempt anyone with evil (James 1:13). Instead, the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We must resist the devil steadfastly in faith, knowing that he will flee from us (James 4:7). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees every tear, hears every cry, and will bring justice in His perfect timing.

We also urge you to seek godly support—whether through trusted believers, a pastor, or professional counselors who can walk alongside you in this battle. Isolation can give the enemy a foothold, but there is strength and protection in the body of Christ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). If these attacks involve physical or ongoing abuse, we strongly encourage you to take steps to remove yourself from harm’s way and seek help from authorities or safe individuals who can intervene. The Lord calls us to wisdom and action, not passivity in the face of evil.

Most importantly, we must cover this in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and through which we have authority over the powers of darkness (Acts 4:12). It is only through His name that we can command these attacks to cease and declare freedom and protection. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we plead with you to do so now. He alone is your deliverer, your healer, and your refuge. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security than being hidden in Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who is under relentless attack by the forces of evil. Lord, You are a God of justice, mercy, and power, and we ask that You rise up as a mighty warrior on their behalf. Rebuke these sexual attacks in the name of Jesus and command every demonic force behind them to flee and be bound. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your supernatural protection to surround them like a shield. Send Your holy angels to guard and defend them, for You have promised that Your angels will encamp around those who fear You and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Break every assignment of the enemy against their mind, body, and spirit. Cleanse them from every defilement and restore what has been stolen—Their peace, purity, and sense of safety. Let Your healing power flow through every wound, seen and unseen, and replace their shame with Your righteousness, their fear with Your perfect love (1 John 4:18).

Lord, if there are any open doors in their life—whether through ungodly influences, unconfessed sin, or generational curses—we ask that You reveal them by Your Holy Spirit. Give them the courage to close those doors and walk in repentance and freedom. Fill them afresh with Your Spirit, that they may stand firm in Your strength and not their own.

We also pray for godly wisdom and discernment. Lead them to the right people who can provide support, counsel, and protection. If they are in danger, Lord, make a way of escape and provide safe refuge. Let them not walk in fear but in the confidence that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we declare that no weapon of the enemy shall prevail. We speak life, wholeness, and victory over them in Jesus’ name. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them testify of Your deliverance and goodness.

Finally, we pray for the perpetrators of these attacks, if they are human. Lord, expose their deeds and bring them to justice. If they are capable of repentance, convict their hearts and lead them to true sorrow for their sins. But if they harden their hearts, let their evil be stopped by Your hand.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power and Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all these things in the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will fight for you. Cling to Him, to His Word, and to His people. You are not alone in this battle. "The Lord will contend with those who contend with you, and He will save your children. He will take vengeance on your enemies and will make those who hate you submit at your feet" (Isaiah 49:25-26). Trust in Him, and do not lose heart. He is your deliverer.
