Laura, we hear your cry for help and we lift you up before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your pain is real, and we stand with you in this difficult time, believing that God hears the prayers of His children and is able to bring healing and relief.
We pray first that you would know the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Pain can be overwhelming, but we trust that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May His presence comfort you as you wait for medical intervention.
Father God, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###’s hand and wrist. You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to restore what has been broken. We declare Your word over her situation: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We rebuke the pain and the contractions in Jesus’ name, commanding them to cease and for the muscles and nerves to be restored to their proper function. We pray for wisdom and skill for the hand surgeon and all medical professionals involved in ###’s care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they seek to bring healing (James 1:5).
We also lift up the emotional toll this pain and waiting must be taking on you, ###. It is easy to grow weary when suffering lingers, but we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, He is at work.
We urge you to continue seeking medical help and following the advice of your healthcare providers, as the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to care for it. At the same time, we know that true healing comes from the Lord, and we stand on the promise that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would strengthen ###’s faith as she waits. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even when the pain feels unbearable. Surround her with Your love and the support of fellow believers who can pray with her and encourage her. We declare that this trial will not break her but will instead draw her closer to You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray for complete healing and restoration. We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust You to bring relief and wholeness to ###’s hand and wrist. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. Amen.
