We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet full of faith in the power of Jesus Christ, who alone has the authority to break every chain. We recognize the deep anguish in this cry for deliverance from unclean spiritual oppression, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved—only through Jesus Christ can we find true freedom.
The Bible makes it clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority over every unclean spirit, every yoke of bondage, every stronghold, and every demonic influence that seeks to oppress you. In the name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee, for it is written, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). The blood of Jesus has already defeated the enemy, and we stand on that victory today.
We rebuke the lies of the enemy that may have taken root in your mind or heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that you are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The spirit of fear does not come from God, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We break every chain of fear, torment, and oppression in the name of Jesus.
We pray for the cleansing of your soul, spirit, and body. May the Holy Spirit fill every area of your life that has been touched by darkness. We ask that the Lord would reveal to you any open doors in your life that may have allowed this oppression to take hold—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, generational curses, or involvement in occult practices. If there are areas where you have strayed from God’s will, we encourage you to repent and turn back to Him with a sincere heart. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also pray for the renewing of your mind. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Fill your mind with the Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on Scripture day and night, and let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).
We stand in agreement with you for complete deliverance. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place, no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent (Psalm 91:9-10). We declare that you are set free from every unclean spirit, every curse, and every generational bondage. The Son has set you free, and you are free indeed (John 8:36).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We thank You that through the blood of Jesus, we have authority over every unclean spirit and every work of darkness. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is crying out for freedom. We ask that You would send Your Holy Spirit to minister to them, to comfort them, and to guide them into all truth.
In the name of Jesus, we break every chain, every yoke of bondage, and every stronghold that has taken hold in their life. We command every unclean spirit to leave now and to go where Jesus sends them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We speak life, peace, and freedom over their mind, body, and spirit.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal to them any areas of their life that need repentance or healing. Give them the strength to turn away from anything that does not align with Your will. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your power and grace. Surround them with godly believers who can support and encourage them in their walk with You.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and if we know that You hear us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from You (1 John 5:14-15). We stand on Your Word and declare that this one is set free, in Jesus’ name.
We also pray for protection over their life. Place a hedge of protection around them, Lord, and let no evil come near them. May they dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus.
We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. Thank You for the freedom that is found in Jesus Christ. We declare that this one is free, whole, and restored, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, fasting, and the reading of His Word. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in faith and hold you accountable. If there are areas of your life where you have been involved in things that do not align with God’s Word—such as occult practices, unforgiveness, or unrepentant sin—we urge you to repent and turn away from those things. The Lord is faithful to forgive and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
Remember, the enemy may try to come back, but when an unclean spirit goes out of a person, it passes through waterless places, seeking rest, and finding none, it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ When it comes, it finds it swept and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that person becomes worse than the first (Luke 11:24-26). This is why it is so important to fill your life with the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and godly fellowship. Do not leave any room for the enemy to return.
You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in faith. Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary. The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.
