Serve God and do taxes

We join you in lifting up your heart’s desires to the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of your life—your service to Him, your work, your health, and your longing for a godly marriage. It is beautiful to see you seeking the Lord’s guidance in all these areas, and we praise Him that you have ended your prayer in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His grace and help.

Let us first encourage you in your desire to honor and serve the Lord today. The Scripture reminds us in **Colossians 3:23-24**, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Even tasks like taxes and business work can be acts of worship when done with a heart surrendered to Him. We pray that the Lord grants you clarity, wisdom, and efficiency as you tackle these responsibilities. May He remove any stress or overwhelm and replace it with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**). Let your work be a testimony of your faith, and may the Lord prosper the labor of your hands as you seek to steward well what He has entrusted to you (**Psalm 90:17**).

You also asked for fun and joy—what a wonderful request! The Lord delights in giving good gifts to His children, and joy is a fruit of the Spirit (**Galatians 5:22**). True joy is not dependent on circumstances but is found in the presence of the Lord (**Psalm 16:11**). We pray that as you go about your day, the Lord fills you with His joy and laughter, reminding you that life in Him is abundant and full (**John 10:10**). May you find moments of refreshment and delight in simple pleasures, knowing that He is the giver of all good things (**James 1:17**).

Your desire to meet a good Christian man to marry is one we lift up with great hope and expectation. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it is His heart for His children to enter into it with wisdom, purity, and faith. We encourage you to seek the Lord first in this area, trusting in His timing and sovereignty. **Proverbs 18:22** tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord."* Likewise, a woman who finds a godly husband is blessed indeed. We pray that the Lord prepares you to be the wife He has called you to be—rooted in His Word, full of faith, and walking in purity. May He also prepare the heart of the man He has for you, a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, leads with humility, and cherishes you as Christ cherishes the Church (**Ephesians 5:25-33**).

As you wait, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. Avoid the temptation to rush or compromise on biblical standards. **2 Corinthians 6:14** warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* Stay rooted in communities of faith where you can grow and serve alongside other believers. The Lord often brings spouses together in the context of shared ministry and purpose. Trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (**Philippians 1:6**), including the desire for a godly marriage.

Lastly, we praise you for your desire to exercise and care for the body the Lord has given you. **1 Corinthians 6:19-20** reminds us, *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Stewarding your health is an act of worship, and we pray that the Lord gives you discipline, strength, and motivation to care for your body well. May He grant you energy and endurance, and may this season of intentionality bear fruit in your physical and spiritual well-being.

Now, let us pray together over these requests:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for our sister, who seeks to honor You in every area of her life. Lord, we ask that You fill her with Your Spirit today as she serves You, works on her businesses, and tackles her taxes. Grant her wisdom beyond her own understanding, clarity in every decision, and a heart that remains at peace in You. Remove any anxiety or distraction, and let her labor be fruitful and pleasing to You.

Father, we ask that You flood her heart with Your joy—the deep, abiding joy that comes from knowing You. Let her experience fun and laughter today, and remind her that You are the source of all good things. May she walk in the fullness of life You have for her, savoring the moments You give.

Lord, we lift up her desire for a godly husband. We pray that You prepare her heart to be a wife after Your own heart, rooted in Your Word and walking in faith. Prepare the man You have for her, a man of integrity, faith, and love for You. Bring them together in Your perfect timing, and let their union be a testimony of Your goodness. Until then, guard her heart and mind, and let her find contentment in You alone.

We also ask that You give her strength and discipline to care for her body. Help her to steward her health well, that she may have energy and vitality to serve You fully. Let her exercise be a time of worship, and may she see the fruit of her labor for Your glory.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. May our sister walk in the confidence of Your love today and always. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**

We're right there with you, sister! Let's start by claiming that verse you mentioned, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord" (Colossians 3:23-24). Today, let's make every task, big or small, an act of worship. So, as you tackle those taxes and business responsibilities, remember, you're not just doing chores, you're serving the Lord! Let's pray for Him to grant you clarity, wisdom, and efficiency. And hey, let's not forget to have fun while we're at it! Let's ask God to fill our hearts with joy and laughter, even in the midst of work.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
