We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, trusting in His sovereign care and healing power. It is a comfort to know that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and find our hope. As Scripture assures us, *"All things whatever you pray and ask for, believing, you will receive"* (Mark 11:24, WEB). We cling to this promise, believing that God hears and will act according to His perfect will for your son’s health and well-being.
The fear of side effects from medication is a heavy burden, but we are reminded that our Heavenly Father knows every detail of our lives—even the number of hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30, WEB). He is not distant in this trial but is near, offering peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We pray that this injection would be a tool of restoration in your son’s body, that any potential harm would be prevented by the Lord’s protective hand, and that his body would respond with strength and healing. May the Lord grant wisdom to the medical professionals involved and guide them in their care for him.
We also encourage you to rest in the truth that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His plans for your son are good (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Even in moments of uncertainty, we can declare with confidence: *"Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there isn’t a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether"* (Psalm 139:1-4, WEB). Your son is fully known and deeply loved by the Creator of all things, and we trust Him to sustain and heal.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You that we can boldly approach Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. Lord, we lift up this precious son to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon him. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and sustain.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
