We come before the Father with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son and his need for healing and protection from any harmful side effects of this medication. It is a comfort to see this request lifted in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and find mercy in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 reminds us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."*
We are also encouraged by the words of Psalm 103:2-3, which declare, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Though medicine is a tool God often uses, our ultimate trust is in Him, the Great Physician, who holds this young life in His hands. We pray that this injection would be a means of restoration, bringing relief and healing without adverse effects.
Yet, we also recognize that our faith must be rooted in God’s sovereignty, even when outcomes are uncertain. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans are for our good—even when we cannot see it. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* So we surrender this situation into His hands, trusting that He will work all things—even the unknown—for His glory and this child’s well-being.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this son, fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. We ask for Your divine protection over his body as he receives this medication. Shield him from any serious side effects, and let this treatment be a tool of healing in Your hands. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers involved, and grant peace to this family as they trust in You.
Lord, we know that You are not distant in this trial but are near to the brokenhearted. Strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If there is any fear or anxiety, replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We also pray that through this situation, Your name would be glorified. Whether through healing or through sustained faith in the midst of difficulty, may this family—and all who witness their journey—see Your goodness and power.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
To the one who submitted this request: Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears and acts on behalf of those who love Him. Keep bringing your petitions before Him, and trust that He is working—even when the path is unclear. If fear creeps in, cling to Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* You are not alone in this. We are standing with you in prayer.
