We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, trusting in His sovereign care and healing power. It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive answers to our petitions. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). We are also reminded that *"all things whatever you pray and ask for, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB), and so we stand in faith with you, believing that God hears and will act according to His perfect will.
The fear of side effects from medication is a heavy burden, but we are called to cast all our anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). While medicine can be a tool God uses for healing, our ultimate trust must rest in Him alone. The psalmist proclaims, *"Yahweh sustains them on their sickbed, and restores them from their bed of illness"* (Psalm 41:3, WEB). We pray that this injection would be used by God to bring restoration to your son’s body, that any potential harm would be prevented by the Lord’s mighty hand, and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
At the same time, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom in this situation. If there are concerns about the medication, pray for discernment and guidance from the Holy Spirit, who is our Counselor (John 14:26, WEB). Consult with godly, wise medical professionals, and trust that God can direct their hands and decisions. Remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB), and we are called to steward them well, but always with the understanding that our lives are in God’s hands.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and earnest hearts, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his body in his mother’s womb and knows every cell, every need, and every fear. We ask that You would surround him with Your healing presence and protect him from any harm that this medication might bring. Let this injection be a tool of restoration in Your hands, bringing relief and wholeness to his body without adverse effects. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers involved, and let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, fill the hearts of this family.
We rebuke any fear or anxiety that seeks to overwhelm, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Let faith arise in this family, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. We declare that no weapon formed against this child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and we trust in Your promise that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB).

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus.
