Serious help

Beloved of All
Please pray that Jesus helps me. I don't feel the ability to truly accept him as my Lord and Savior and to put my faith in him. Not only that, but I'm very unrepentant and unforgiving, dealing with sins and murderous thoughts. Please help.

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we are moved with compassion for the spiritual battle you are facing. The fact that you recognize your struggle with unbelief, unrepentance, unforgiveness, and sinful thoughts is a sign that the Holy Spirit is already at work in you, convicting you of your need for Christ. This is not a time for despair, but a moment to turn fully to Jesus, who alone can break these chains and set you free.

The Bible tells us in **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)**, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* Your struggle to accept Jesus as Lord is not uncommon—even the apostles wrestled with doubt at times. But faith is not about *feeling* capable; it is about surrendering your inability to Him and asking Him to give you the faith you lack. In **Mark 9:24 (WEB)**, a desperate father cried out to Jesus, *"I believe. Help my unbelief!"*—and Jesus honored that honest plea. You can pray the same prayer right now.

Your confession of unrepentance and unforgiveness is serious, for these are barriers between you and God. **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Repentance is not just sorrow for sin; it is turning away from it and toward God. Unforgiveness, too, is a weight that will drag you down. Jesus warned in **Matthew 6:15 (WEB)**, *"But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* This is not to condemn you, but to urge you to release these burdens to Christ, who can heal your heart and empower you to forgive as He has forgiven you.

The murderous thoughts you mention are a grave matter, and we must address them with urgency. Such thoughts are not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to destroy you. **2 Corinthians 10:5 (WEB)** commands us to *"bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* You must resist these thoughts in the name of Jesus, renounce them, and fill your mind with Scripture. **Philippians 4:8 (WEB)** tells us to meditate on *"whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."* If these thoughts persist, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counseling and accountability from a mature believer or pastor who can walk with you through this battle.

Most importantly, you must understand that salvation is not earned by your own strength or goodness—it is a gift received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. **Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB)** declares, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* Your feelings of inadequacy are not a barrier to Christ; they are the very reason you need Him. He does not wait for you to "get it together" before coming to Him. He calls you *now*, just as you are, to lay every sin, every doubt, and every burden at His feet.

Let us pray for you with fervency and faith:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You alone can break the chains of unbelief, unrepentance, and unforgiveness that bind them. Lord Jesus, You said in **John 6:37 (WEB)**, *"All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. Him who comes to me I will in no way throw out."* We claim this promise over our brother/sister right now. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, in a way they cannot resist. Softens their heart to receive Your love and truth. Where they feel unable to believe, grant them the gift of faith. Where they struggle to repent, pour out Your Spirit of conviction and grace, leading them to true repentance. Where unforgiveness has taken root, uproot it by the power of Your love, and teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them.

We rebuke the spirit of murderous thoughts in the mighty name of Jesus. Satan, you have no authority here—this child of God belongs to Christ, and we command every dark thought, every accusation, and every lie to flee now in Jesus’ name. Fill their mind with Your peace, Lord, and guard their heart with Your Word. Surround them with godly people who can speak life into them and hold them accountable.

Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way—let them *know* that they are loved, that their sins are forgiven, and that they are Your child. Break every stronghold of doubt and sin, and let them experience the freedom that comes only through Your Son. We pray for a supernatural encounter with Your presence, that they may never be the same.

We thank You, Lord, for the work You are already doing in their life. We trust that You who began a good work in them will complete it (**Philippians 1:6**). May they rise up from this moment with a renewed heart, a steadfast faith, and a testimony of Your saving power. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Our brother/sister, we urge you to act *now*—do not wait another moment. Cry out to Jesus with the little faith you have, and He will meet you there. Confess your sins to Him, ask for His forgiveness, and surrender your life to His lordship. If you have not already, pray this prayer with us:

*"Lord Jesus, I come to You as a sinner in need of Your grace. I confess that I have struggled with unbelief, unrepentance, and unforgiveness. I renounce my sins, including the murderous thoughts that have plagued me, and I ask You to cleanse me and make me new. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again, and I receive You now as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to walk in obedience to You. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*

If you prayed that prayer with sincerity, the Bible promises you are now a child of God (**John 1:12**). We strongly encourage you to:
1. **Read your Bible daily**—start with the Gospel of John to grow in your understanding of Jesus.
2. **Find a Bible-believing church** where you can be discipled and surrounded by fellow believers.
3. **Seek accountability**—share your struggles with a trusted Christian who can pray with you and support you.
4. **Memorize Scripture** to combat the lies of the enemy. Verses like **Psalm 51:10 (WEB)**, *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me,"* and **1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB)**, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure,"* will strengthen you.

You are not alone in this fight. We are standing with you, and more importantly, Jesus is standing with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (**Hebrews 13:5**). Walk forward in faith, one step at a time, and watch what God will do in your life. He is not finished with you—He has a purpose and a plan, and it is for your good (**Jeremiah 29:11**). Hold fast to Him, and He will hold fast to you.

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand the weight you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Jesus sees you, He loves you, and He's waiting with open arms. He's not put off by your struggles; instead, He's drawn to your honesty and your desire for change.

Let's pray together:

Dear Jesus, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. Lord, we ask that You would meet them right where they are. We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, breaking the chains of unbelief, unrepentance, and unforgiveness that bind them. Give them the gift of faith, Lord, to trust in You even when they don't feel like they can.

We also ask that You would deliver them from the spirit of murderous thoughts. In Your mighty name, Jesus, we command every dark thought to flee now. Fill their mind with Your peace and guard their heart with Your Word.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way. Let them know that they are loved, that their sins are forgiven, and that they are Your child. We pray for a supernatural encounter with Your presence, that they may never be the same.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, dear friend, take a deep breath and know that Jesus is right there with you. He's not waiting for you to have it all together; He's waiting for you to take that first step towards Him. Trust in Him, even if it's just a little bit. Confess your sins to Him, ask for His forgiveness, and surrender your life to His lordship. He's got you, and He's not letting you go.

If you prayed that prayer with sincerity, the Bible promises that you are now a child of God. We encourage you to read your Bible daily, find a Bible-believing church, seek accountability, and memorize Scripture. You are not alone in this fight. Jesus is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Walk forward in faith, one step at a time, and watch what God will do in your life. He's not finished with you yet; He has a purpose and a plan, and it's for your good. Hold fast to Him, and He will hold fast to you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
