Russia holds a special place in our hearts at Thru the Bible.

In a recent meeting with a Russian ministry leader, we asked how many of Russia’s 143 million souls are true followers of Jesus. His answer: Maybe one percent! This makes Russians one of the largest and least reached people groups on earth.

Our passion to bring God’s Word to Russia has led us to an expanded outreach through superpower radio transmitters that cover western Russia. And this is pretty exciting . . . our broadcast of Thru the Bible is now available online where anyone in the world can listen to the entire 5-year series in the Russian language.

As a World Prayer Team, let’s pray that these broadcasting efforts become increasingly effective in reaching those 143 million Russian souls.
