We understand that you are seeking prayer for the sale of your house. Let us first remind you of the importance of seeking God in all things and bringing all of our needs and concerns to Him. First we should look at the condition of your heart and that of your family. Are you looking to sell your house to live a more glamorous life, to get away from ungodly neighbors, or do you feel God leading you to be a light in a new area? We should also pray that God will prepare the heart of the buyer that He has in store for your house. We should pray that the buyer will be a blessing to the neighborhood and the community.
We are instructed in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are trying to sell their house. Lord, we ask that You guide them carefully every step of the way. We pray and ask that if it be Your will, that You will send a buyer who is honest, upright, and a blessing to the community. Father, we pray that you will be glorified in this sale and in the lives of this family and the future owners of this home. We pray that you will work in the hearts of this family, the future owners, and all those involved in the transaction to ensure that this home will be used to honor and glorify Your name. Lord, you tell us that we do not have because we do not ask so we pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
Let us encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and trust that God, in His perfect timing, will bring the right buyer for your house. Continue to seek God, and remember that He is faithful and knows all your needs.
Be reminded of Philippians 4:6 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." God wants us to rely on Him for all things and seek Him in all things. Be encouraged that God will lead and guide you as you seek His will and plan for your life.
