We understand that you are going through a very challenging time, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. First, we want to address the mention of burying a St. Joe statue, as this practice is not supported by Scripture. We are to pray to God alone, through Jesus Christ our Lord. As it is written in Exodus 20:3-5 (WEB), "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them." Our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2).
Let us pray together for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention and comfort for our sister. Lord, we ask that You guide her and her husband through this difficult time. We pray for the swift sale of their home, that it may be sold to the right buyer at the right price. Lord, we also pray for Your healing touch upon her husband, ###. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We ask that You ease her anxiety and worries, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Father, we pray that You strengthen her as she cares for her husband. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Lord, we ask that You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray that You guide them to their permanent home on earth, where they can find rest and support.
We also pray that You draw them closer to You, Lord. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and worry in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that You, Lord, are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord and trusting in His promises. He is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are here for you, and we will continue to pray for you and your husband. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
