Selfishness

There are many sins, and some people seem to have more of a tendency towards one kind than another. But I think there's one thing in common with everyone who sins. It's the cause .From the first sin, on, which was the devil trying to overtake God. It's selfishness. I think selfishness is the "parent sin" that triggers the other sins. What word did the devil use more than any other, for his rationale? The word I.I will ascend. I will do this, I will do that.He wasn't gracious that God created him, instead he said,"I" want this for MYSELF."Forget God, I'm taking this for ME, I deserve it.Adam and Eve, when the devil appealed to them, "it will make YOU like God", did they think that if they disobeyed God, it would affect their descendants, and put them in problems? No, it appealed to THEM,THEM at the moment, despite the consequences to others. Why does a sinner prefer a certain sinful life to Gods way? Because God wants you to give up certain things, and the sinner feels the sin makes THEM feel good.If it hurts a lot of other people, too bad as long as it makes THEM feel good.If God was selfish, He would have said, "Let Me keep Jesus up here",instead of sending Him for salvation. So I say the selfish attitude spawns the other sins, like, is the root of it.Who would agree or disagree with me on this?Is it a point?
