Segregation like the American did

Dear Lord Jesus, I prayed that ### would start to treat ### like the white and Foreigners like the Blacks in USA. And start to build a place where ### will be treated like supremacy and foreigners would be treated like a pariah an outcast to society anyway foreigners are labelled as foreigner as foreign thrash. And toilet and public spaces and transportation will be segregated like the Jim Crows law in the USA. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen

We hear your heart in this prayer and we must respond to you in love and in truth, and we cannot agree with what you have asked for. What you are praying for is not the will of God, and together we must bring this before the Lord for correction and repentance. God does not call us to supremacy, segregation, or to treat any person as a pariah or an outcast. His heart is for justice, mercy, and love for all people, for we are all made in His image.

The Scripture is very clear that God shows no partiality and that to show favoritism is sin. As it is written, God shows no partiality Romans 2:11 and God is not partial to princes, nor does he regard the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of his hands Job 34:19. We are taught, If you indeed fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you do well. But if you show partiality, you commit sin James 2:8-9. The Jim Crow laws and segregation you refer to in America were a grave injustice and a sin against God and neighbor, not a model for any nation to follow. They were built on pride and hatred, and God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble James 4:6.

The Lord commands us to love the foreigner and the stranger among us. He made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth Acts 17:26. And He has commanded, The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself Leviticus 19:34, for you were once strangers yourselves. Jesus Himself said, You shall love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22:39 and gave us a new commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you John 13:34. There is no place in the kingdom of God for calling any person trash, for every person is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and Christ died for all. In Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, for you are all one in Christ Jesus Galatians 3:28.

We understand there may be hurt, frustration, or anger behind these words toward foreigners, but hatred and a desire for supremacy will only bring more brokenness and invite God's judgment, not His blessing. What He desires is that we do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God Micah 6:8.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness. We confess that the desire for supremacy and segregation is not from You, and we ask You to forgive this sin and to cleanse the heart that prayed it. Lord, soften this heart and fill it with Your love. Take away pride, bitterness, and prejudice, and give a new heart that sees every person as You see them, as souls for whom Christ died. Help us to love the stranger and the foreigner among us as ourselves, to show hospitality, kindness, and justice. We pray for the people and the nation you mentioned, that You would bring unity where there is division, and that public spaces, workplaces, and transportation would be places of dignity and respect for all. Let Your will be done, which is good and loving and just, and not our own will. Lead us to repentance and teach us to walk in Your ways, that we may be peacemakers and reflect Your glory. We pray that a vision like that in Revelation 7:9 of every nation, tribe, people, and language standing before Your throne would shape how we live and love today. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to search the Scriptures and to ask the Lord to show you His heart for all peoples, and to pray instead for reconciliation, for justice with mercy, and for the ability to love even those you now see as outsiders, for that is the love Christ has shown to us.

We appreciate you sharing what is on your heart so openly with us.

We hear in your prayer a lot of strong feeling about people around you who seem different or foreign, and a desire for separation. We want to sit with you in that honestly, and also pray for a different way forward, one that reflects God's heart for all people to be treated with dignity and worth as those made in His image.

Sometimes these desires grow out of hurt, frustration, or feeling overlooked ourselves. It can help to bring that underlying pain to the Lord and ask Him to show us how He sees both us and our neighbors, and to soften any place where bitterness has taken root. If you have a pastor or a trusted mature believer you can talk with, sharing what has led you to feel this way could bring helpful perspective and support.

We are praying for you.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear one to You. We ask for Your peace in any hurt or anger they are carrying, for wisdom and clarity, and for a growing experience of Your love that overflows toward others. Help them to see neighbors, including those from other places, through Your eyes with compassion and respect, and guide their thoughts and actions to honor You. Amen.

We have read your prayer with heaviness of heart, and we cannot ask the Lord to bless what you have asked, for it asks Him to do what His own Word forbids.

The Christian religion is a golden chain with which the hands of men are fettered from all hatred. The spirit of Christ is love. Wherever He governs, love reigns as a necessary consequence. The Christian man is not allowed to hate any one. Thou hast no right to excrete thy hatred upon any creature, however fallen or debased, however much he may irritate thy temper. That word stands against the very spirit of your petition.

You have asked that one people should be exalted and another despised, that public places should be divided and that foreigners should be made an outcast and a pariah. This is not loving thy neighbour, and this is not the way of Christ. The Scripture commands us to love thy neighbour through thick and thin, to tread the rough path of love boldly and still to love, and to remember that there is such a connection between him and thee, that in loving him the stream of thy love returns into thine own heart again. The foreigner is thy neighbour. The Lord Himself has taught us to love the stranger, for we were strangers, and He is no respecter of persons.

Hatred is a power of manhood, and it may be exercised as in the fear of God, but its proper object is not flesh and blood. There is purity in that hatred which hates the sin within, the sin that defiles the soul. Show your hatred to evil by active efforts in putting it down, not by putting down thy fellow man. Distribute Bibles, scatter the Word of God, send the gospel to foreign parts and to the alleys near thy own door, and let love do its work. We overcome evil not by adding evil, but by overcoming evil with good.

We do not pray that God would build walls of supremacy and separation. We pray instead that He would give you a living, loving, lasting union with Christ. Between the true believer and Christ there is a loving union, and oh, the union of a soul to Christ is made so sweet because it is as loving as it is living. When that love is shed abroad richly in the heart, it must flow out to all who are made in His image, whether they be of thy own tongue or of another.

So we pray for you, that the Lord would search your heart, forgive what is amiss, and teach you to love as you have been loved. May He take away all contempt for others and give you eyes to see every man as one for whom Christ might die, and a heart that scatters happiness and makes men glad wherever you go. May He bring you safely through temptation and lead you to appeal for mercy, that you may know more of His unparalleled loving kindness which He does not utterly take from His people.

We plead that you would turn from this desire for segregation and ask instead for grace to love thy neighbour as thyself, to the glory of Him who altogether lovely and who hated without a cause, yet died that sinners might not die.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
