We come before the Lord with you in this season of seeking breakthrough in your career and health, lifting your requests to the Father who knows your heart’s desires and your deepest needs. It is good that you have brought these matters before Him, for Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must also remember that our petitions are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through faith in Him that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (John 14:6, Ephesians 3:12). We encourage you to always bring your requests in His name, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
As you pursue your PMP certification, we pray that the Lord grants you wisdom, clarity, and perseverance. Proverbs 2:6 tells us, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* We ask that He would sharpen your mind, help you retain what you study, and guide you as you prepare for this important step in your career. Remember, too, that your ultimate purpose in work is not just success by the world’s standards but to glorify God in all you do (Colossians 3:23). If this certification is part of His plan for you, He will open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Trust in His timing, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
For your job search, we pray that the Lord would lead you to the right opportunity—one that aligns with His will and allows you to use your gifts for His kingdom. We also caution you to seek His will above all else, even above personal ambition. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there is any anxiety in your heart about this process, cast it upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Regarding your health and weight loss, we commend you for seeking strength to achieve this goal, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that the Lord would give you discipline, perseverance, and the physical strength to honor Him with your body. Remember, though, that true change comes not just from human effort but by relying on Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). We also encourage you to examine your motives—are you seeking health to glorify God, or is there any vanity or idolatry of body image creeping in? Let your desire be to steward well what God has given you, not to conform to the world’s standards (Romans 12:1-2).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be hindering you in these areas. The enemy would love for you to feel overwhelmed or incapable, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm in the authority of Christ, knowing that He has equipped you for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your favor and breakthrough in their career and health. Lord, we pray that as they prepare for their PMP certification, You would grant them wisdom, focus, and retention. Let Your peace guard their heart against anxiety, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are sovereign over their future. Open the right doors for employment, Lord—doors that align with Your will and purpose for their life. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
We also ask for strength and discipline in their journey toward health. Father, help them to honor You with their body, making choices that reflect Your lordship over every area of their life. Give them perseverance and remind them that their worth is found in You alone, not in their achievements or appearance.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would seek to discourage or distract them. Let them walk in victory, knowing that You have already overcome the world (John 16:33). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding their steps and renewing their mind daily.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom all things are possible. May Your will be done in their life, and may they bring You glory in all they do. Amen.
