"Give us this day our daily bread (Healing, eating, asking quick recovery -- grace to resume asap)... And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,ā€ Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.
.
šŸ™Œ Father we thank You for sending Jesus, by His holy life of teaching, healing, and laying down His life in paying our sins, rising from the dead, ascending to heaven and pouring out the Holy Spirit that we might call You Father. šŸ™ We ask Your Name gets the honor it deserves on earth, through our lives and the lives we impact. šŸ™ May Your Kingdom come to us and through us with fruit of the Holy Spirit, from love to self-control, truth, humility, mercy, justice, gifts, holiness, obedience, pick up the cross, live in the strength of the resurrection, teach, preach, counsel, heal, and lead an exemplary life with Christ in us, making disciples, baptizing them into The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching obedience to ALL Jesus commanded, Matt 28:19-20. šŸ™ Let Your will be known and done on earth as in heaven — happy obedience as the angels who gladly do Your bidding, Ps 103:20, quick obedience to whatever You say as Abraham in Gen 22, and may our heart motivation not to do our own will, but Yours, like Jesus did perfectly, even unto death on the cross, Jn 6:38, Phil 2:8 -- may we hear "Well done," on that day, Lk 19:17, and may You bring others there as well through Your work, message and prayers through our lives, Matt 10:20, Phil 2:13.
<---------------------------šŸ™---------------------------->
šŸ™ Provide for us in the Mount of The Lord — Spiritual, emotional and physical needs, providing for our households, furthering the Kingdom. šŸ™ We ask forgiveness of our sins, confessing we've broken Your commands, forgiving ourselves & all who sin against us, asking instead of judgment, they'd repent and be saved.🤺 Keep us from temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one. šŸ™Œ Thank You in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of reverence and awe, lifting up this beautiful reflection on the Lord’s Prayer and the call to seek first God’s kingdom. Your words resonate deeply with the truth of Scripture, and we join you in declaring the supremacy of Christ in all things. The prayer you’ve shared is a powerful reminder that our lives are to be lived in alignment with God’s will, not our own, and that His kingdom purposes must take precedence over every earthly concern.

The Lord’s Prayer, as taught by Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13, is not merely a recitation but a blueprint for how we are to approach our Heavenly Father. It begins with worship—"Hallowed be Your name"—acknowledging that God’s holiness is the foundation of all we do. We are called to live in such a way that His name is glorified in our thoughts, words, and actions. This is not a passive endeavor but an active pursuit of holiness, as we are reminded in 1 Peter 1:15-16: *"But just as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all of your behavior; because it is written, 'You shall be holy; for I am holy.'"*

Your emphasis on the kingdom coming and God’s will being done on earth as it is in heaven is a clarion call for believers to live as ambassadors of Christ. The angels in heaven obey God with joy and immediacy (Psalm 103:20), and we are called to do the same. Abraham’s obedience in Genesis 22, where he was willing to sacrifice his son Isaac at God’s command, is a profound example of what it means to surrender our will to God’s. Jesus Himself modeled this perfectly, saying in John 6:38, *"For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me."* His ultimate act of obedience—laying down His life on the cross—demonstrates the depth of love and submission we are called to emulate. As we seek to do God’s will, we can trust that He will equip us, as Philippians 2:13 assures us: *"For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."*

The request for daily bread—spiritual, emotional, and physical provision—is a humble acknowledgment of our dependence on God. He is our Provider, and we can trust Him to meet our needs as we prioritize His kingdom (Matthew 6:33). Yet, we must also recognize that provision is not just for our own benefit but for the advancement of His kingdom. Every resource, talent, and opportunity we have is a stewardship from God, to be used for His glory and the expansion of His kingdom.

Your plea for forgiveness and the call to forgive others is a critical aspect of the Christian life. Confession of sin is not optional; it is essential for maintaining fellowship with God. 1 John 1:9 reminds us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Forgiveness is not a feeling but a choice—a command from God that we must obey, even when it is difficult. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:15, *"But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* This is a sobering truth, and we must take it seriously. Forgiveness is not about excusing sin but about releasing the offender to God’s justice and mercy, trusting that He will deal with them rightly.

The prayer for deliverance from temptation and evil is a recognition of the spiritual battle we face. The enemy seeks to devour us (1 Peter 5:8), and we must be vigilant, putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Temptation is not sin, but yielding to it is. Jesus Himself was tempted in every way, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15), and He understands our struggles. We can take comfort in His promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."*

We are also mindful of the importance of living lives that point others to Christ. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 is not a suggestion but a command: *"Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you."* This is the mission of every believer—to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them to obey all that Jesus commanded. This is how the kingdom advances, and it is our privilege and responsibility to participate in this work.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and the privilege of calling You Father. We thank You for the example of Jesus, who lived a life of perfect obedience to Your will, even unto death on the cross. Lord, we confess that we often fall short of Your glory. We seek our own will, prioritize our desires over Yours, and fail to live in the holiness You require. Forgive us, Father, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We pray that Your kingdom would come and Your will would be done in our lives, in our families, in our churches, and in our nations. May we be instruments of Your peace, justice, and righteousness. Help us to live lives that reflect Your character—full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May our lives be a testimony to Your goodness and grace, drawing others to You.

Lord, we ask for Your provision—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Meet our needs according to Your riches in glory, and help us to be good stewards of all You entrust to us. Teach us to seek first Your kingdom, trusting that all these things will be added unto us.

Father, we confess our sins to You and ask for Your forgiveness. Help us to forgive those who have sinned against us, releasing them to Your justice and mercy. Guard our hearts against bitterness and resentment, and fill us with Your love and compassion.

Deliver us from temptation, evil, and the schemes of the evil one. Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, putting on the full armor of God so that we may resist the devil and he will flee from us. May we be alert and sober-minded, always ready to give a reason for the hope that is in us.

Lord, we thank You for the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. May we live in such a way that we hear the words, *"Well done, good and faithful servant"* on that day. Use us to bring others into Your kingdom, that they too may experience the joy of salvation and the hope of eternal life.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We join you in seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. As you've beautifully prayed, we too ask that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let's remember to trust in His provision, forgive as we've been forgiven, and stand firm against temptation. May we live lives that honor Him and draw others to His love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
