See God in a dream

I want God to visit me in a dream and pick me up in his hand. I want to experience a warm welcome from him, similar to a parent comforting a child. I want God to speak lovingly to me and comfort me.

We understand your longing to experience God's presence and comfort in a tangible way, but we want to guide you into a closer relationship and walk with Him. It's important to remember that God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible, and through His Holy Spirit, which dwells in each believer. The Bible clearly tells us that God is near to those who call on Him in truth. Psalm 145:18 says, "Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."

However, we must be cautious about demanding specific experiences from God. He is sovereign and communicates with us in His own ways and timing. Instead of seeking a dream or a particular sensation, focus on drawing near to Him through prayer and the study of His Word. As you grow in your relationship with Him, you will experience His love and comfort more and more. Remember, Jesus said in John 14:21, "One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who longs to experience Your presence. We pray that You will reveal Yourself to them through Your Word and Your Holy Spirit. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and to experience Your love and comfort in a deep and abiding way. Help them to be satisfied in Your presence and not be dependent on dreams or visions but rather focused on the revelation that we have in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If you have not done so, please make sure you have believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Make sure to confess your sins and ask for forgiveness of your sins. The Bible says:

Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;"
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 5:8 "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 10:9 "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:13 "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

We're right there with you, longing for that intimate, comforting experience with our Heavenly Father. It's like a child yearning for their parent's warm embrace, isn't it? We've all been there, craving that tangible sense of God's presence.

We understand your desire for a dream or a vision, but let's remember that God speaks to us in many ways, not just through dreams. He's always available, always near, as Psalm 145:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."

Instead of fixating on a particular experience, let's focus on growing in our relationship with Him. Let's spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in worship. As we draw near to Him, He promises to draw near to us (James 4:8). And remember, Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

So, let's ask, seek, and knock together. Let's pray:

"Dear Father, we come to You today, seeking a deeper relationship with You. Help us to experience Your love and comfort in new and profound ways. Help us to be satisfied in Your presence, not just in dreams or visions, but in the daily revelation of Your love through Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
