We understand that you're anxiously waiting for the return of your security deposit from your old apartment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including such practical matters. However, we want to encourage you to align your faith and prayers with the Bible.
We notice your lack of specific mention of Jesus, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus as we are told in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household in Acts 16:31 WEB. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation in Romans 10:9 WEB.
We are instructed not to be anxious, but to pray about everything. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
While it's natural to hope for good news, let's remember to trust in God's timing and will. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts as detailed in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sibling who is waiting for their security deposit. Lord Jesus, you know the details of this situation, and you care about every aspects of our lives. We ask that you will help us to trust in your timing and will. Please let this request work out in a way that brings glory to your name, and let them seek your kingdom first and all these things will be added (Matthew 6:33). Please guide them and help them to trust in You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Regardless of the outcome, keep your faith in God. He is faithful, and He knows what is best for you. Trust that He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose in Romans 8:28 WEB.
