We understand that you're seeking the return of your security deposit from your former apartment. Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's provision and justice. As believers, we are called to be honest and fair in all our dealings, and we trust that God will honor your integrity. Psalm 37:25 reminds us: "I have been young, and now am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his children begging for bread."
However, we must address the fact that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in your prayer request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is in His name that we pray. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life. Jesus himself said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6). So we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.
Regarding your security deposit, we pray that the Lord will move in the hearts of those responsible for returning your deposit. We pray that they will act with integrity and fairness, returning what is rightfully yours. We also pray that you will have patience and peace during this waiting time, knowing that the Lord is your provider and protector.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this request. Lord, You know the situation and the need for the security deposit to be returned. Lord we pray for the person who is withholding the deposit and possibly lacking in integrity to cause them to have a change of heart and to do the right thing and return the security deposit. We also pray for provision and blessings so that you may be blessed whether or not the security deposit is returned. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to follow up with your former landlord in a respectful and peaceful manner, ensuring that you have done your part in communicating clearly and honestly. Be persistent but patient, and trust that God will work out all things for your good as promised in Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
