Brothers and Sisters I was wondering if anyone could help enlighten me to this piece of scripture and give me further clarification;

Mark 2: 27-28

"The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath".

I believe that this verse is saying that we need not worry about completely resting on the sabbath. Back then, it was crucial that people did not do ANY work on this day. It was a holy day, and anyone caught working could be punished. Then Jesus healed a man on the sabbath, and said "My father is always at work on the sabbath." So, We don't need to obsess over it. We do what needs to be done, but appreciate that the day is intended as a day of relaxation, and worship. Because the sabbath does not rule over us, it was made FOR us. People used to obsess over keeping all of the laws sacred. But Jesus showed us that it simply cannot be done, for we break them all the time. So, while we should try, we need not obsess. :) That is my interpretation.

I’m reading and praying but I’m not getting any idea on what my purpose is or what steps God wants me to take? Which ideas I should give up? I’m so confused. Please if anyone can read a scripture passage on my behalf and tell me what they glean. Thanks.
