School assignment

Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me to complete an assignment that was due this past weekend in a timely manner. I am already late in submitting it. Although I was working on assignments tonight and did get things done, my ### called me and I was not able to finish all the work I wanted to do. I was also struggling to understand what I needed to write to write the paper correctly and I also started to get very tired. I'm so worried about submitting and finishing this and other assignments and the professor is a tough grader which I think is adding to my anxiety. Please pray that I pass this class. It's my final class before I finish my degree. I'm so anxious about all of this.

We lift you up before the Lord in this time of stress and anxiety, knowing that He is your strength and refuge in every circumstance. First, we want to gently address something important: in your request, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Scripture reminds us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Salvation comes through faith in Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, and by trusting in Him, you can have peace with God and eternal life.

Now, let us speak to the struggles you’ve shared. The distractions and interruptions you faced—including the call that pulled you away from your work—can be frustrating, but we encourage you to trust God’s timing even in these moments. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This doesn’t mean success as the world defines it, but that God will guide and provide as you seek Him first. Your weariness is also understandable, but remember what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* He invites you to cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

As for your professor being a tough grader, we pray that God would give you favor and clarity as you complete this assignment. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Your ultimate audience is God, not your professor, so do your best as unto Him, trusting that He will honor your diligence. If you’re struggling to understand the material, ask God for wisdom, as James 1:5 promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."*

We also notice the deep anxiety you’re carrying about this class and your degree. Anxiety is a heavy burden, but Scripture commands us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Instead of allowing fear to dominate, surrender this situation to God and thank Him in advance for His provision. He is faithful and will see you through.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to manage your time and priorities in a way that honors God. Distractions, like the call you mentioned, can derail our focus, but we must be intentional about stewardship of the time God has given us. Ephesians 5:15-16 advises, *"Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil."* This doesn’t mean you can’t answer important calls, but it does mean setting boundaries when necessary to fulfill your responsibilities.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened with anxiety, weariness, and the pressure of this late assignment. Lord, we ask that You grant them clarity of mind and understanding as they work to complete this task. Remove every distraction that would hinder their progress, and help them to focus on what needs to be done. Father, we pray for Your favor with their professor, that even in their tardiness, You would cause their work to be received with grace. Calm their anxious heart and replace their fear with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Remind them that their worth and identity are not found in their grades or achievements, but in You alone.

Lord, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray that You would draw them closer to Yourself. Help them to trust in Your provision and timing, knowing that You hold their future in Your hands. Strengthen them physically, mentally, and spiritually as they press on toward the completion of their degree. May they seek You first in all things, committing their work to You and finding rest in Your presence.

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear in Jesus’ name, declaring that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in wisdom and truth as they write. May this assignment and this season of their life bring glory to Your name.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have started in them (Philippians 1:6). In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We're right here with you, friend. We know the weight of a looming deadline, the frustration of interruptions, and the anxiety that comes with wanting to do our best. But remember, God is with you in all of this. He sees your efforts and He cares about your heart.

Let's take a moment to acknowledge the elephant in the room - the call that pulled you away from your work. It's easy to get frustrated with interruptions, but let's try to see them through a different lens. Perhaps God was giving you a moment to breathe, to refocus, or even to attend to something else that was important. It's okay to feel frustrated, but let's not let that frustration turn into bitterness or resentment. Trust that God has a purpose in all things, even in the timing of a phone call.

Now, let's talk about this assignment. We know it's important to you, and we want to encourage you to keep pressing on. You've already made progress, and that's something to be proud of. But remember, it's not just about the grade. It's about the process, the learning, and the growth. It's about honoring God with your efforts, no matter the outcome.

We're going to pray for you right now. We're asking God to give you clarity of mind, to help you focus on what you need to do, and to remove any distractions that might be hindering your progress. We're asking Him to calm your anxious heart and to fill you with His peace. We're asking Him to help you trust in His provision and timing, knowing that He has a plan for you, even in this.

And we're going to remind you of something Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul."

So, take a deep breath, trust in God's plan, and let's keep moving forward together. You've got this, and you're not alone. We're right here with you, every step of the way. Let's pray.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We’ve been lifting you up in prayer over these past few days, trusting that God would grant you clarity, strength, and peace as you worked through this challenging assignment. What a privilege it has been to stand with you before the Lord, asking Him to calm your anxiety, sharpen your focus, and provide the wisdom you needed to complete your work well. We know how overwhelming it can feel when time is short, exhaustion sets in, and the pressure of a tough grader weighs on your heart—especially when this class is the final step toward your degree. That’s a big milestone, and we’ve been praying that God would remind you of His presence in the midst of it all, assuring you that He is faithful to equip you for every good work He calls you to do.

If the Lord has answered your prayer—whether by giving you the strength to finish, the grace to submit your work with confidence, or even the peace to trust Him with the outcome—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be such an encouragement to others who are facing similar struggles. And if this burden still feels heavy, or if new challenges have arisen with this assignment or others, please don’t hesitate to post an update so we can continue praying with you. The Lord is near to those who call on Him, and He is not finished working in your situation.

We’re also praying that you’d feel God’s peace guarding your heart and mind as you wait, remembering that your worth and future are secure in Christ, no matter the outcome. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He who began this good work in you—both in your education and in your faith—will carry it on to completion. We’re cheering you on and believing with you for His perfect will to be done in this season.

In Jesus Name.
