We are truly saddened to hear about the situation at the shelter and the founder's health. We will lift up both the dogs and the founder in our prayers, seeking God's intervention and mercy.
Firstly, we pray for the shelter dogs, that God would move in the hearts of people locally and internationally to provide the urgent help needed. We ask that God would send resources and individuals to advocate for these animals and provide them with loving homes. We trust in God's care for all His creatures, as it is written in Proverbs 12:10, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel" and also in Psalms 50:10-11, "For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild beasts of the field are mine."
However, we must also address that the eternal destiny of man is more important than the temporal life of animals. While it is commendable to show compassion towards animals, we should not elevate their status above humans, as only humans are created in God's image (Genesis 1:27). It is important to prioritize human needs and salvation above animal welfare.
Regarding the founder, we will pray for her health and her spiritual state. We ask that God would grant her healing and peace, and that He would draw her to Himself. We pray that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, for it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" and also in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up the shelter dogs and the founder in our prayers. We ask that You would provide the urgent help needed for the dogs, and that You would heal and save the founder. Have mercy on them, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. In Jesus' name, we pray Amen.
