Save my ###'s business

Rhitel

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my husbands small business to survive for another year. We have loans that we have to pay off. After that if he has so close it he will and will get another job. But right now we and his employees need this to survive. He is a good church going man who puts others first. Please his name is ###. We can use all the prayers we can get please!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband’s business and the weight of financial burdens you both carry. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that God sees your faithfulness and the integrity of your husband as he serves others and provides for his employees. The Lord is not unaware of your struggles, and He calls us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

We also recognize the responsibility you both have in managing these loans and the difficult decisions ahead. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." While this is not a condemnation, it is a call to seek wisdom in stewardship and to trust God’s provision even when the path is uncertain. We pray for discernment for your husband as he leads his business, that he would make decisions rooted in faith rather than fear, and that God would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation. Strengthen this business, Lord, and let it thrive in a way that brings glory to Your name. Provide the resources needed to meet these obligations, and give wisdom to navigate the challenges ahead. We pray for the employees who depend on this work, sustain them, Lord, and remind them that You are their ultimate Provider. For your husband, we ask for renewed energy, creativity, and favor in the eyes of those he serves. May his testimony of faith and perseverance be a light to others, drawing them closer to You.

We also lift up your marriage, asking that You would knit your hearts together in unity as you face these trials. Remind you both that Your love is the foundation that cannot be shaken, even when circumstances are. Help you to encourage one another and to keep your eyes fixed on Christ, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

If there is any area where fear or doubt has taken root, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. The enemy would love to see you paralyzed by worry, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in the truth that God is your Provider, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We declare that this business will not only survive but will be a testament to God’s faithfulness. May it be a place where lives are touched, families are provided for, and Your name is lifted high. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We've been praying as we read your request. Wanting your husband's business to make it through this year while you carry those loans, and feeling responsible not only for your family but for his employees, is a lot to hold at once. We can hear how much you respect your husband and the way he puts others first, and how much you want to honor both your commitments and the people who depend on you.

This kind of pressure can be isolating, and it helps not to carry the financial questions alone. One steady next step many couples have found helpful is to sit down with a trusted, experienced financial counselor or a reputable nonprofit credit counseling service to look at the loans, cash flow, and options for the next twelve months. Having a clear plan on paper, even while you continue to pray and work hard, can bring a sense of calm and help you make decisions together rather than out of worry. Your pastor or a mature couple in your church may also be a good sounding board as you think about what comes after this year.

We are asking God to give you both wisdom, steadiness, and provision day by day.

Father, we lift up this husband and wife and this business to You. You know the loans, the employees, and the needs in their home. Grant them wisdom for each decision, strength for the work, and peace as they trust You with what they cannot control. Provide for them according to Your goodness and lead them in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your burden and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking Him to have mercy and to provide according to His wisdom and goodness.

There is comfort in remembering that it is usually God's way to begin His great works with small things, and He asks, who hath despised the day of small things. A small business, faithfully tended, is not despised by Him. He sees the labor of your husband's hands, his care for his employees, and the weight of these loans, and He knows what is needed for this coming year.

We are praying that the Lord will sustain this work for another year as you have asked, that He will grant provision for every honest debt to be met, that He will give your husband wisdom and strength for his daily labor, and that He will keep the livelihood of those who depend upon this business. We pray also that your husband, who you describe as a good church going man who puts others first, will find his business to be his Father's business. If you make your own business God's business, you will do your business well. When labor is done unto the Lord, with integrity and diligence, it becomes sweet employment in His sight.

Do not grow weary if the answer does not come as a rushing wind or a sudden shower. Our heavenly Father generally uses that which is soft, tender, gentle and quiet, a still small voice, and His doctrine distils as the small rain upon the tender herb. That small rain has a way of its own by which it makes up for being so small, by continuing to fall day after day, until the herb is truly refreshed and nourished. So we will continue in prayer with you, day after day, trusting the Lord to water and sustain you.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are our Provider and that You have made provision in abundance for Your people. We lift up this husband and his small business to You. You know his name and his needs, the loans that press upon him and the employees entrusted to his care. Grant him health, wisdom, honest gain and faithful stewardship. Provide what is needed for this year, and guide him in the way that honors You, whether in continuing this work or in due time taking up other labor as You direct. Keep this family close to Christ, resting in salvation through Jesus alone, and let their trust be in You rather than in uncertain riches. Speak to them in Your still small voice, give peace in the waiting, and let Your will be done. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.

We will continue to remember you both before the throne of grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer for your husband, his business, your family, and his employees during this difficult season.

We pray that God our Father will provide for all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus, grant wisdom and strength to your husband as he leads his business, and give you both peace as you trust Him with the loans and the future. We ask the Lord to sustain the business in the months ahead as you have asked, to bless the work of his hands, to provide for each employee and their families, and to open doors for provision whether through the business continuing or through new work in His perfect timing.

We thank God that your husband seeks to put others first and to walk faithfully with Him. May the Lord continue to strengthen your marriage and your home as you seek Him together, remembering that He is faithful to care for His people and that He calls us to work diligently, to act honestly, and to cast all our cares upon Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, we bring this family before You. Provide for them, guide their decisions, help them to honor You in their work and finances, and let them know Your peace and provision day by day. Give them wisdom for the year ahead and hope for the future, whatever You have prepared for them.

We will continue to pray with you. May the Lord encourage you both and keep you close to Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for asking for prayer for your husband, his business, the debts you are carrying, and the employees who depend on it. I hear the weight you are carrying and the desire to honor God and care for others through this difficult season.

It is understandable to feel overwhelmed when a small business faces pressures that seem much larger than its resources. In Scripture we see again and again that God is not limited by how mismatched things appear from a human point of view. What looks impossible to us is not impossible to Him, and He often works precisely when we have no strength left on our own.

The Lord has a special care for those who are pressed by debt and distress. When David was in the wilderness, everyone who was in debt and everyone who was troubled gathered to him, and God formed them into a community and provided for them. He sees you, your husband, and each employee, and He knows the practical needs you face with loans and daily provision.

I want to encourage you to bring this matter before the Lord with both honesty and surrender. It is right to tell Him exactly what you need, even with desperation, as a mother once prayed desperately for her child and then was willing to say, Lord, this life and this situation belong to You. Do with it as You will, but have mercy. You can lay the business before Him in the same way and say, Father, we need Your help to meet these obligations and to care for these families, and we trust Your will above our own plans. Whether He sustains the business for another year or leads your husband to other work after the debts are met, you can trust His wisdom and goodness.

As you pray, do not give place to the enemy who tries to intrude where he has no right and to take what does not belong to him. Deal firmly with him in prayer by claiming the victory that Christ has already won, and rest in that victory rather than in fear.

Remember also that God is not dependent on us. He is not struggling to stay afloat or waiting for us to rescue Him. We are dependent on Him. He is faithful, and He invites us to depend on His support and supply. Scripture says God will supply all your need according to His riches in Christ Jesus, and that He is able to make sure that nothing is lacking, whether small or great. What He has already done in making you His children through Jesus is not a small thing, and His provision in the past is a reason to give thanks even now while you wait for what He will do next.

So continue to seek Him, walk by the Spirit, and choose obedience in the small and large decisions. Thank Him for the provision He has already given, ask Him for wisdom for every business decision, for favor and provision to meet the loans, and for peace for your family and your employees.

Let me pray for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift this family to You. You know this husband by name, You see his desire to work diligently, to put others first, and to walk with You. You see the debts and the responsibilities for employees and families. Lord, have mercy and provide. Grant wisdom in every decision, open doors for provision, and give strength and peace in the waiting. Help them to trust You fully, to give thanks for what You have already provided, and to rest in the victory of Christ over all fear and opposition. Let Your will be done, and let them know Your nearness and care each day. Sustain them and lead them in the way You know is best. Amen.
