Can Hagar bring forth? Of course she can; And did.

But, what God says, He means. Abram could've bed-down all the Hagars he found among Sarai's handmaidens, but God did not say Hagar, He said Sarai. Therefore, Hagar brought forth Ishmael. And indeed Hagar could've produced a whole quiver of Ishmaels, but only Sarai was anointed to bring forth Isaac, the promise (the reward) upon whom God's covenant would rest.

Sometimes God has to rename or even reconstruct a thing in order to preserve the integrity of His name, at times even commanding unto the remnant, a new covenant. Whichever the case may be, God is not mocked, nor will He be made a liar, for any reason; certainly not because of man's rebellion or ill-advised choices. Sarai and Abram chose to do things their own way, thereby soiling the covenant, God literally had to change their names to Sarah and Abraham, where upon He established an EVERLASTING covenant.

Genesis 17:16 (b) . . . yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. (KJV)
Smile Sarah

Now that's good news, for Sarah, Abraham, and his seed; even did God also bless Ishmael. But unto the city who entertains that false prophet who, of their own authority, breaks the wooden yoke; Thus said the LORD: Jeremiah 28:13 "Go and tell Hananiah, ’This is what the LORD says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron."

Long story short, after all the interference, commotion, and missteps, God will still have it His way.

AND, HIS TIMING IS PERFECT.

God's Word is never negative, but rather truthful and merciful in warning.

When God speaks everyone smiles and Sarah did smile when He told her that she will bear a child at her ninety nine years old. Nothing is impossible for God. So, all your unsaved loved ones and friends and coworkers who refuse to believe in Jesus and reject His word, God will save them all. Believe it with all your heart and wonderful things will happen.
