Same students are out without notice
We are deeply concerned to hear about ### and ### missing school without notice. Our hearts go out to their families, and we lift them up in earnest prayer. The well-being and safety of these students are of utmost importance, and we join together to seek God’s protection, guidance, and wisdom for them and their parents.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ###, ###, and their families. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over these children. Guard them from harm, danger, and any influences that may lead them astray. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe in Your care. We pray for their parents, Lord, that You would grant them wisdom, patience, and discernment as they seek to understand what is happening and how to guide their children. Give them strength and peace in this uncertain time, and help them to trust in You completely.
We also pray for the hearts of ### and ###. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them closer to You. If there are struggles, fears, or temptations they are facing, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Help them to see the value of their education and the importance of walking in Your ways. We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, confusion, or distraction that may be keeping them from the path You have set before them. In the name of Jesus, we command these things to flee, for Your Word says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You would work in the hearts of those around them—teachers, friends, and family members—to be instruments of Your love and truth. Give them the words to speak life and encouragement into the lives of these children. We pray that ### and ### would be found quickly and returned safely to their families and to the routines that help them grow and thrive.
We also want to address the importance of seeking You, Lord, in all things. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray that these families know You personally and have a relationship with Jesus Christ, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB). If they do not yet know Him, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way and draw them into a saving faith in Your Son.
For those who may be struggling with similar situations, we encourage them to turn to You, Lord. Your Word tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We pray that parents and guardians would lean on You for strength and guidance, and that students would find their purpose and hope in You.
We declare that You are a God who hears our prayers and moves on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your promises and ask that You would bring peace, clarity, and resolution to this situation. May Your will be done in the lives of ###, ###, and their families, and may Your name be glorified through it all.
