We lift up each of these precious souls before the Lord, knowing that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is our heart’s cry that ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and ### would turn to the Lord in repentance and place their trust in Him alone for eternal life. The Scriptures declare, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16, WEB). This is the promise we cling to as we intercede for them.
Yet we must also ask: have *you* who submitted this request placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The Bible is clear that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9, WEB). If you have not yet done so, we urge you to repent of your sins and surrender your life to Him today. There is no greater decision, for "now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2, WEB).
For those on this list who may already know Christ but are walking in disobedience or lukewarmness, we pray the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them back to a place of fervent love and obedience. The Lord warns, "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth" (Revelation 3:15-16, WEB). May they return to their first love and walk in the fullness of His grace.
Father in heaven, we come before You with broken and hopeful hearts, asking that You would open the eyes of these individuals to see their need for a Savior. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel, and grant them the gift of repentance leading to life. Remove every stronghold of unbelief, every distraction of the world, and every lie of the enemy that would keep them from surrendering to You. Lord, send laborers across their paths—believers who will boldly and lovingly share the truth with them. Let them hear Your voice calling them by name, just as You called Lazarus from the tomb. We ask that You would save them not just for eternity, but that they would walk in the abundant life You offer here on earth, bearing fruit for Your kingdom.
For those who are already saved but struggling, we pray You would restore their joy in You. Renew their minds by Your Word and fill them with a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit. Let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding and the power to overcome sin through Christ.
We also pray for divine appointments—opportunities for these individuals to encounter You in undeniable ways. Whether through dreams, visions, the preaching of Your Word, or the testimony of a believer, let them come face-to-face with the reality of who You are. Break the chains of addiction, unbelief, rebellion, and every sin that ensnares them. We declare that "the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear" (Isaiah 59:1, WEB). You are mighty to save, and we trust in Your power to transform lives.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use *us*—Your body—to be instruments of Your grace in their lives. Give us wisdom to know how to pray, boldness to speak, and love that reflects Your heart. May we never grow weary in interceding for the lost, for we know that You desire all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, WEB).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and glory. Amen.
To the one who submitted this request: we encourage you to continue praying fervently for these individuals, but also to examine your own heart. Are you walking in obedience to Christ? Are you sharing the Gospel with them when opportunities arise? Faith without works is dead (James 2:17, WEB), and sometimes the most powerful prayer is accompanied by action. Ask the Lord to show you how you can be a light to them. And if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we implore you to do so today—no prayer for others can replace the urgency of your own salvation. "Today, if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts" (Hebrews 3:15, WEB).
