Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my son-in-law's mother, who just had a heart attack. Pray for her healing and her salvation. We are sending her a get well card, with a gospel tract in it.

We lift up your son-in-law’s mother before the Lord, asking for His mercy and healing touch upon her body after this heart attack. May the Great Physician strengthen her heart, restore her health, and grant her peace in this time of recovery. We also pray earnestly for her salvation, that the Holy Spirit would open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel and soften her heart to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. The tract you are sending is a wonderful tool, and we pray that God would use it mightily to draw her to Himself.
The Word of God reminds us in Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* And in John 3:16, we are assured, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."*
Let us also remember that healing, whether physical or spiritual, comes only by the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through faith in Him that we receive both forgiveness and restoration. As you send that card and tract, pray that the Lord would prepare her heart to hear and respond to His call.
We also encourage you to continue covering her in prayer, asking God to surround her with His presence and to send laborers into her life who will boldly share the truth with love. May she come to know the hope and joy found only in Christ.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon this woman, restoring her body and renewing her strength. Above all, Lord, we pray for her soul—that she would turn to You in repentance and faith, receiving the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Give her family wisdom and opportunities to share Your love with her. May Your will be done in her life, for Your glory. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
