We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up this earnest request for the salvation of this beloved soul. The Scriptures remind us that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Him—believing in His death, burial, and resurrection—that anyone can be reconciled to God and receive eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Jesus, there is no access to the Father, no forgiveness of sins, and no hope of redemption. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
We also recognize that salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). It is God who draws hearts to Himself, opening eyes to see the truth and ears to hear His voice. So we pray fervently, trusting in His sovereign will and timing, that He would soften this heart and remove any hardness or resistance to the Gospel. May the Lord grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will (2 Timothy 2:25-26).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would surround this person with Your love and mercy. Send laborers into their life—believers who will boldly and lovingly share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them. Open their heart to receive the truth of Your Word, and let them see their need for a Savior. Break every chain of sin, deception, or unbelief that may be holding them back from surrendering to You. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, in a way that is undeniable and life-changing. Let them experience the depth of Your grace and the joy of salvation that comes through faith in Jesus alone.
We also pray for divine appointments—moments where this person encounters Your truth in unexpected ways, whether through a sermon, a conversation, a dream, or even a simple act of kindness that points them to You. Let them see the emptiness of life without You and the hope that is found in Christ alone. Give them a hunger for righteousness and a thirst for Your Word, that they may seek You with all their heart.
Lord, we know that You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We claim this promise over this life, asking that You would move mightily to bring them into Your kingdom. Let this be a season where they turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).
We stand in agreement, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May this person’s salvation be a testimony of Your grace and power, bringing glory to Your name. Let their life be transformed by Your love, and may they walk in the newness of life that comes through faith in Christ.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
