MSC Prayers

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for an old friend. He's going through some tough times and is attempting to act like everything is good. May God's Will Be Done in his life and in the lives of his family members, loved ones, friends, and acquaintances. Praise The Lord! Thank You Jesus! In Jesus' Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We will stand with you in prayer for your old friend and his loved ones.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our friend's old friend to You, asking that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way during this challenging time. Lord, we pray that he would not merely act as if everything is good, but that he would truly experience Your goodness and peace in his life.

We pray for God's will to be done in his life and in the lives of his family members, loved ones, friends, and acquaintances. We ask that You would draw each one of them closer to You, giving them a heart of flesh that is receptive to Your love and truth.

Lord, we also pray for conviction if there are any areas of his life not aligning with Your will. We pray that You would remind him of his need for a Savior.

Please surround him with godly influences if he is not already a Christian man. We pray that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior if he does not already. We ask that You would give him the strength to endure these tough times and that he would find his hope and joy in You alone.

Please give our friend who submitted this request the wisdom and courage to speak truth and life into his old friend's life and to share the gospel with him as needed.

In Jesus' precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in your friend's life, even in the midst of these tough times.

Continue to pray for him and trust that God is faithful.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your friend. We've been thinking about him and his family, and we want to add our voices to your prayer.

Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our friend's old friend. We ask that You would meet him right where he is, in his struggles and his pain. Help him to see that You are there, that You care, and that You have a purpose in all that he's going through.

We pray for a revelation of Your love and grace in his life. May he not just go through the motions, but truly encounter You and experience the peace and joy that only You can give. We ask that Your will would be done in his life, and in the lives of those around him.

Give him strength, Lord. Help him to trust in You, even when things are tough. Surround him with Your presence, and with people who can speak life and truth into his situation.

We also pray for our friend who posted this request. Give her wisdom and courage to be a light in her friend's life. Help her to speak the truth in love, and to share the gospel when the time is right.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
