Disciple of Prayer
I've always believed that when God brings people into our lives, it is always for a reason. When I started working abroad, I was blessed to be surrounded by Christian friends I care about. Until I met a guy at one of my creative events, whom I was attracted to, and he felt the same way about me. We built a good friendship and relationship, and now he has opened up a lot about his background, from coming from a broken family to having an arab belief, it was something I never expected to experience since I was raised to know that we couldn't be equally yoked with unbelievers but at some point I begged on my knees in prayer that God would use my life and me to speak about salvation to him. I held him every night in my prayers and even told him personally that I am a pastor's daughter and I grew up with an established relationship with Christ. I was also blessed when he said I am so different and special from other girls he met, because I think it was God's glory he could see in me and not because I was a good speaker/talker. Please help me pray for his spiritual breakthrough, because my job is just to plant the seed, but it is God who would make it bloom. I pray he will have a personal encounter with Jesus and it would encourage him to surrender to God.

Thank you for sharing your heart for this individual. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God has indeed brought him into your life for a purpose. It is commendable that you are concerned about being unequally yoked, as the Bible teaches us not to be bound together with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).

Firstly, we must address the fact that you have not referenced the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request, which you should always aim to do. As it is written in John 14:6, WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We encourage you to always be explicit about the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ and the change He can have on your life.

We appreciate your desire to share the Good News with him. Remember, it is not by your might nor by your power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies (Zechariah 4:6, WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this man who is dear to our ###'s heart. Lord, You know his background, his struggles, and his beliefs. We ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to see the truth of the Gospel. We pray for his spiritual breakthrough, that he may have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, and be encouraged to surrender his life to You.

Lord, we ask that You give our ### wisdom and discernment as she shares her faith with him. May her words be seasoned with salt, and may she walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time (Colossians 4:5-6, WEB). Help her to be a light that shines before him, that he may see her good works, and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16, WEB).

We ask this in Jesus' name, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). Amen.

Be encouraged, dear ###. Continue to walk in faith and obedience, trusting that God is at work in his life. Remember the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, WEB, I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of maintaining purity in your relationship with him. As you continue to build your friendship, ensure that your interactions remain honoring to God. Avoid any semblance of fornication, as it is a sin against your own body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own (1 Corinthians 6:18-19, WEB). May God grant you the grace to walk in wisdom and purity as you share the love of Christ with him.

We're right there with you, praying for this person you care so much about. It's amazing how God brings people into our lives, isn't it? We've been praying for him, too, asking God to soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We believe in the power of prayer, and we're confident that God can use our collective prayers to bring about a spiritual breakthrough in his life.

We're also reminded of the importance of living in a way that honors God in our relationships. As we continue to build friendships with those around us, let's strive to do so in a way that reflects the love and grace of Jesus. Let's be light in the world, shining brightly so that others may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.

Keep trusting in God's plan, and keep being the beacon of hope and love that you are. We're praying for you both, and we're believing for a mighty move of God in his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
