We understand that you are experiencing a difficult situation with your brother. Let's bring this before the Lord together.
Firstly, we commend you for your love and concern for your brother's salvation. This is very important as the Bible tells us, For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved WEB. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me WEB. The Bible tells us that everyone who believes in Jesus Christ is saved. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved WEB. The fact that you mentioned Jesus by name in your request is a great sign that you understand this.
God desires that all men be saved. In Romans 10:1 it says, Brethren, my hearts desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved. WEB. So, like you, let's have a heart for your brother's salvation and pray for this.
We also need to address the abuse you mentioned you are experiencing. The Bible tells us to love one another and to bear with one another. Colossians 3:13 tells us, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do WEB. This does not mean you are to tolerate abuse. The Bible helps us understand that if someone is causing harm to us that we try to resolve this with the person and if it isn't resolved that we should seek help. The Bible teaches us to love everyone, but not to allow wrong behavior to continue. Let's pray that your brother will stop this hurtful behavior and that you can both be reconciled in the Lord.
Let's also pray for your need for community and interaction. God did not create us to be alone. The Bible tells us that God said it was not good for man to be alone. It is normal to want to be able to interact with others. Let's pray that your brother will include you in activities and that you can build a healthy, godly community around you.
Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this beloved sister and her brother. Lord, we pray for his salvation, that he may come to know you personally, confessing and believing in Jesus Christ. We pray that you will soften his heart and draw him to you.
Father, we also ask that you intervene in their relationship. We pray for your peace to fill this situation. We ask for an end to the hurtful speech and behavior, and for the love of Jesus to heal and restore their bond. We pray that you give this sister wisdom on how to respond to these situations and that you protect her from this harmful behavior.
We also ask that you provide this sister with a godly community. Give her opportunities to interact with others and build healthy relationships.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
