SALVATION FULL AND FREE

Isa.55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

There is no need to pass through years of penance, of hard labor, and of trial; the gospel is as free as the air you breathe. You do not pay for breathing; you do not pay for seeing the sunlight, nor for the water that flows in the river as you stoop to drink when you thirst. So the gospel is free; nothing is to be done in order to get it. No merits need be brought in order to obtain it. There is free pardon for the chief of sinners through Jesus Christ's blood. But I said it was a full pardon. When Christ does anything he never does it half way. He is willing to blot out every sin and cleanse every iniquity of every soul who is now prepared by God's grace to seek his mercy. Sinners if God has put it in your heart to seek Him, the pardon which He has prepared to give you, is a full one; not a pardon for part of your sins, but for all of them.

Isaiah 55:6-7

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Here and now is pardon for your drunkenness, pardon for your broken promises, pardon for your lust, pardon for your rebellion against God; for the sins of your youth and the sins of your old age. Here is pardon for all sin, for "the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." But again, the pardon we preach is a present pardon. If you are feeling the need for your Savior, if you are now enabled to believe in Christ and call on Him, you shall be pardoned now. Those who have ordinary hopes say they hope to be pardoned and saved when they come to die. But, beloved, that is not the salvation we preach. If you now confess your sin, now seek the Lord, you shall be pardoned now. It is possible for a man to have come here with all his sins hanging about his neck like a millstone, enough to sink him lower than the lowest hell, and yet to go out with every sin blotted out. If now he is enabled to believe on Jesus and call on His name, he may at this time receive perfect pardon from the hand of God. The pardon of a sinner is not a thing done when he is dying, it is done when he is living-done now.

2 Cor. 6:2 For He says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

There are some here I trust, who can already rejoice now in the fact that they are pardoned. Isn't it a wonderful thing for a man to be able to walk upon God's great earth with this for a song in his heart, "I am forgiven, I am forgiven; I am pardoned" Praise be to God I'm saved. I think it is one of the sweetest songs we can sing in all the world and before the throne of God.

Some excerpts from C.H. Spurgeon and others from our Lord.

Hallelujah, I cannot wait til all of the Lord's children walk out of condemnation and truly understand the promises that the Lord has for us. I also cannot wait for the many who are going to be part of the Kingdom soon as the Lord finds them and saves them out of darkness. Praise God!

The bible is free yet so many look for monetary items to keep them at peace and happiness. I never looked at it that way before this article you sent. Peace=Bible.....how easy did God show us.

God Bless...

Another timely message. Sin is something I do struggle with and knowing that I'm pardon because God is so loving is comforting to me. Thank you so much!

Darlin, I am so thankful for the truth of the message of your blog today. When The Lord said, "It is finished." He meant it. Everything ever needed for our salvation and redemption was completed at Calvary that day. Hallelujah! Praise His Holy Name. Amen and Amen.
