Safe travels

My son is home from college for the summer. He got a job and will be driving 30 minutes away everyday. Please pray in Jesus name for his safe travels and no car issues as he drives. Lord please command your angels concerning him to guard him in all his ways. Thank you all for praying as we continue to pray for each other in Jesus name.

We join with you in lifting up your son in prayer during this summer season. We are reminded of God's promise in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our brother's son. We thank You for the job he has secured and for the opportunity to grow and learn this summer. We pray for his safe travels as he drives to and from work each day. Lord, we ask that You command Your angels concerning him, to guard him in all his ways. Protect him from all harm and danger, and keep his vehicle safe from any issues.

We also pray that this time away from college would be a time of spiritual growth for him. May he seek You first and draw close to You. May he be a light for You in his workplace, and may Your favor rest upon him.

We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting God with your son's safety and future. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Keep praying for one another, as we are instructed in James 5:16 (WEB), "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

We are glad that you have included Jesus Christ in the prayer.

We're right there with you, praying for your son's safe travels this summer. We're reminded of Psalm 121:1-2 (WEB), "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." We know that God is always watching over him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
