We understand that you're embarking on a journey home after many years, and you're seeking God's protection and blessing for this trip. It's wonderful that you've included Jesus Name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is good that your request is inline with God's Will and the Bible.
In the Bible, we are encouraged to pray for our travels and to ask for God's protection. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone." Also, in Psalm 121:8 WEB, "Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our fellow believer who is preparing to travel home after many years. We ask, Lord, that You would guide them and keep them safe throughout their journey. We pray for Your angels to encamp around them and protect them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11-12).
Lord, we ask that You would bless this trip, that everything would go smoothly, and that it would be a time of renewal and restoration. We pray that this time away would draw them even closer to You, and that they would return home refreshed and encouraged (Psalm 121:8).
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and cares about every detail of your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Have a safe journey, and may God bless your time with family and friends.
